I need an answering machine that can transcribe the message and email it to me. I would whitelist a select few that can actually reach me.
“You’ve reached rgb, speak your message after the beep and it will be transcribed and emailed to rgb.”

Cut away a generous part around a mould spot, inspect crossection. Looks good? Smells good? Then it’s edible. Mould is everywhere all the time. If you can see it or smell it, don’t eat.
If you are worried about the mould and microorganisms you can’t see, then you will have to eat everything right out of the oven, made with fresly ground flour.

This has happened a few times in my life. Feels kinda like when you use a muscle wrong and it starts cramping, just that in this case I somehow swallowed wrong. At least it doesn’t last for very long.

Yea! If in doubt, unplug every other drive. It’s a good practice.

There was not an option to autopartition the drive you picked? Having to manually make efi partition sounds suspect to me.

Insted of banning abrasive people from forums, we could flag them and use AI as a filter on everything they say in that forum. In a similar vein of how Overwatch dealt with trolls in their ingame chat. If you say “too easy” your message is replaced with something less abrasive.

- Comment on Could we survive eating only humans? 4 months ago:
I would like to add that there is a reason we banned feeding cattle with animal by-products rather than solely relying on screening slaughtered animals. There are limitations in screening animals. False negatives, especially in young, early stage, asymptomatic cases of disease (they are still transmitting abnormal proteins). Screening every slaughtered individual would be very costly.
You want a combination of preventative measures. But best to break the food chain transmission vector. Cannibals have a circular food chain. That is an issue.

Among dogs there is certainly the one dog that has the respect of the other dogs. The other dogs will happily wag their tail and show their belly. The ones that challange it will be chased away. I think each sex in the community has a ‘leader’ of their own.
I think the equivalent in humans are charismatic individuals that command respect over their surrounding.
People who self-proclaim ‘alpha’ usually lack charisma, are agressive, dysfunctional individuals that live in a fantasy. Noone respects them. They may see them as crazy and hence fear them.
