I would like to add that there is a reason we banned feeding cattle with animal by-products rather than solely relying on screening slaughtered animals. There are limitations in screening animals. False negatives, especially in young, early stage, asymptomatic cases of disease (they are still transmitting abnormal proteins). Screening every slaughtered individual would be very costly.
You want a combination of preventative measures. But best to break the food chain transmission vector. Cannibals have a circular food chain. That is an issue.

I would assume one does this to probe for likeminded people. Can’t think of anything else.

I wonder if signs like these are effective. Unless you are monitoring and handing out fines as guests leave, they are gonna just do whatever is their habit.

Raspberrypi with pivpn. Put it right next to the router. Can possibly be powered by the routers usb port as well. Connect with ssh to administer. Easy as pie.

I observe this in the stray dog population. There is always one calm and confident dog like this.

Among dogs there is certainly the one dog that has the respect of the other dogs. The other dogs will happily wag their tail and show their belly. The ones that challange it will be chased away. I think each sex in the community has a ‘leader’ of their own.
I think the equivalent in humans are charismatic individuals that command respect over their surrounding.
People who self-proclaim ‘alpha’ usually lack charisma, are agressive, dysfunctional individuals that live in a fantasy. Noone respects them. They may see them as crazy and hence fear them.

Last time i checked; you need to look at comercial displays or computer monitors. But they are more expensive than a consumer smart tv.

If Gary has any shred of charisma, people will respect his opinions and listen to his words. That applies to young individuals too.
When I was around 10, there was this teacher guy that all the kids respected. He was fun and could be scary stern when the situation demanded it. Kids really liked him and listened to him. He was not rich, his teeth was somewhat discolored cause of tobaco use and I would call him a Gary type character, with an unremarkable life style. But he had charisma and a commanding presence.

Gonna go ahead and guess; buy it in EU, turn on your vpn, connect, setup, register. Keep your vpn turned on perpetually. Maybe you’ll be required to have a european bank when you make purchases as well.

I assume it’s similar how I can’t get in to manga, but I can enjoy a novel or animated stuff. Just can’t seem to enjoy those black and white squares with questionable art in them. Just doesn’t speak to me.
