The arrests of pro-Palestine activists have made up the majority of terrorism-related arrests in the UK since Palestine Action was proscribed in 2025, new statistics from the Home Office reveal.
The latest figures show a record high in terrorism-related arrests, with 2,867 arrests made in the year ending June 2026, up from 234 the previous year – a 1,553% increase. Of these arrests, 94 percent, or 3,630, were tied to alleged support for Palestine Action.

And how many of those were pensioners?
How many of those “terrorists” only act of “terror” was quietly holding up a piece of cardboard?
The police and government are the true terrorists of the British population.

The entire reason you have to lable a mundane act terrorism is, otherwise you can’t legally arrest the person engaging in it. It highlights that maybe you should not have a special legal term ‘terrorist’, that lets you do whatever against your citizens. Especially if it’s easy to just lable old grandma nitting a free palestine shirt a terrorist.

Right, so are these people actually being arrested under Terrorism laws or is that News source just being inflammatory?
I would guess the latter.
If they were arresting so many people under the prevention of terrorism, we’d be under Martial Law right now.

They are actually being arrested.

Yep they are being arrested for supporting a proscribed organisation. They know what they are doing - it’s not like they accidently used that particular form of words.
