Last night, I was probably a bit more intolerant of people than what I usually am, so apologies for that rant. I ate a donut for breakfast, which may or may not help hehe :)
Itâs one thing to be tolerant as I believe you need a good amount for relationships but sometimes it goes a little too far and you have to let them know that some stuff it out of line.

Thanks Duenan. I just think I got too angry, but I will definitely talk to her about it.
So, I donât want to sound harsh, but you need to not minimise your feelings. Your home/space should be your sanctuary so you can have whatever rules/boundaries you want. Forcing yourself to accommodate people that you donât really want to is stressful and doesnât turn out well in the end. Trust me. Been there, done that plenty of times until I learned my lesson.

Getting a nice long walk in now seeing as I wonât be leaving the house for the next 2 days. Except for cat duties.

If you want extra fancy, have you heard of Stained Glass jelly. Chunks of multicoloured jelly set in white sweetened condensed milk jelly. I remember it from when I was a kid but hardly see it anymore.
Set up a cheap telescope Miniest got for Xmas. She wanted to know what that bright light in the sky was and I told her I thought it was Venus. She insisted we set it up and take a look tonight. I donât hold much hope for a great view but it should be interesting anyway.
Wallace and Gromit for me thinking about how thereâs a tradition of British men inventing something in their shed thatâs a specific answer to a problem no one had before.
Things that come to mind are the Brompton folding bicycle, that 3 wheeled car from Mr Bean, and the L96A1 sniper rifle.

Not British, but my late grandfather tinkered in his Melbourne shed and invented a Golf Thing. Some kind of magic device to fix a particular swing issue.
This is the sort of thing I was thinking. Especially if itâs overly elaborate and complicated to fix a specific problem

I put a cheap Kings Gazebo on the north side of the house yesterday morning.
We didnât need to put on the AC at all!
Despite the builders best efforts, our Zero Energy designed house is doing pretty well.
We have an 80th Birthday Party here this arvo with 50ish guests. I think that we may need to turn the ACs on.

So⊠itâs only been recently (within the last 1-2 years) that Iâve really started shredding aeons old paperwork from primary school reports to medical files. Iâve been lugging around this expanda file that I donât really use any more and finally pulled out all the paperwork today.
Itâs not a huge pile by any means, but wow, you really can tell the story of someoneâs life with this information. Itâs kind of simultaneously cool/creepy. Itâs also wild how peopleâs identities can be stolen with less.
The shredder is going to get a workout.
Ona funny side note, finally got around to start wiping my old computer. For something that was running WIN7 with 3 drives (donât ask me), it was surprisingly quick.
Like better than the majority the PCs I work with. It made me wonder why I stopped using it⊠Likely portability/outdated hardware.
Waiting it for it to finish ShredOS so I can take it to recycling⊠Honestly, attempting to do all the right recycling things has made realise how time consuming it is. Nothing is simple!
