One of the mornings I’ve ever seen.
It’s almost midnight and I am hungry. To eat or not to eat, that is the question.
Have a glass of milk, that might hold you over
Never thought I’d live to see the day 27° feels cool
I’ve managed to reduce the inside temp down to 27.3. Limited because I don’t want to open up my blinds, so it’s just the window behind them
I remember after the heatwave before Black Saturday there was a day in the high 30s and I was really happy to have finally have some cool weather.
It was brutal. I remember it very well because there was a whole week in the 40s and the airconditioning in our place at the time was not great. Also my workplace was a long commute away, very not fun in the afternoons. And this was the days before working from home was an option. A lot of people were ‘sick’ that week on various days.
Oopsie almost gave my neighbour a gift with four of something. No 100% sure where she is from, but best not!
I suck at navigating those sorts of things. I thought I was somewhat culturally aware until I started hearing about the concept of unlucky numbers and realized I have zero clue how other cultures do things. Probably a good reason I should never become the prime minister, I’d end up offending someone through sheer obliviousness and getting us all blown up 😂
Pretty sure the PM gets formal briefings on this stuff. Paying attention to it is another matter. No Keating you may not pat HRM on the bum!
Watching the old Frankenstein movies seeing the amazing images and I recall watching these as a child.
When I was a kid screen time meant watching broadcast tv, our only choices were 3 stations, the schedule was fixed but we had a tv guide to see what was on, and it was black and white. tvs were big and heavy but had small screens.
Saturday afternoons was when I watched movies, every movie that was on.
and they were always rogers & hammerstein
lots of sword and sandal, tarzan, english movies
Love old horror movies, and was also a huge fan of the Addams family series
5 more sleeps 'till Santa. Yay.
Were you good this year?
Ummm yissss
Ok Hugh & Eddie, it’s time for you to take it away again: One Day More!
Why am I wide awake now? I feel asleep at like 10pm.
Gah!!!
AusPost said the NBN box will arrive for sure today. It’s currently in Dandenong South though, so I’m not super sure about that. It took them 3 days to send it from sunshine West to Melbourne airport last week. But maybe they’re on the grind with Chrissy looming
Good night everyone . 😘
Night goonhoon
Goodnight ❤️
Night!
Do I crack a new face mask to wear outside for the smoke? 🫥
It’s definitely cooler outside.
Ok guys I’m gonna plug Brian FM one more time. Pros: No ads, no chatter, just a great range of music. You will not be disappointed. Get on it.
I’ve just put the oven on to preheat for the pfeffenusse - day 2 of biscuit baking begins!
This week I have been reading a general interest book, not a text or calligraphy or art book.
it’s good to get some mental stamina back :)

ugh, I have never heard the neighbours kids laugh once, at their place it always ends in screaming and crying

That may be the saddest thing I’ve heard of all year.
