One day I was in the kitchen and my cat jumped on the heating radiator because she wanted to get pet. When I finished petting her, she turned around on the radiator and her toe got stuck in the grill on top of it. She immediately started screaming and I tried to free her. She was in so much panic she bit and scratched me. My other cat was upstairs but he came down and jumped in my back to defend her because he heard her scream as if she was being murdered.
I managed to shake him of my back and to pull her toe free. I was worried she was injured, but luckily she had no wound and walked fine afterwards. There was blood on her, but it was all mine from when she bit me.
That was the only time she bit or scratched me and she is 14 years old now. The other cat is now 16 years old and I do occasionally get scratched by him. Most of the times it’s because he’s a bit clumsy. In time when I was trying to sleep, he decided the best way to cross the bed was by walking over my face. He slipped and scratched my nose. Last week he scratched my neck when he tried to get on my shoulder but misjudged the jump.

I like the self-checkout because it feels like I’m wasting less time at the checkout. I scan everything while walking through the store so when I get to the self-checkout I just have to pay and I’m out.
The only store where I like the regular checkout is Aldi because those cashiers are fast and the belt is long.
The worst checkout system we have is in a store called Colruyt. The cashiers have to load everything from your cart to an empty cart while they scan it. It was already a slow system and it got worse since they installed ‘smart’ cameras above the checkout to scan the codes instead of using the handscanner. - Comment on Depluralize 3 months ago:

This reminds me of Cities: Skylines. Top picture is when you create spaghetti. Bottom picture is how I started my first map. I had no idea what I was doing and connected a big road directly to the highway at the starting point.

My bonus is always money. Half of goes to taxes before it reaches me. Then I use the part I get to pay my other taxes. After this I have just enough left to get myself a pizza.
