FIFA 99, Need for Speed : Underground, The Sims 2, C&C : Red Alert 2, SSX3, Black and White, LOTR 2 & 3, Burnout 3, Battlefield Vietnam, …
There was a time when they were good, but they fell out of grace in the second half of the 2000s

I believe The Last of Us II actually portrayed this one thing oerfectly. At the beginning you can feel some of Ellie’s hesitation as she comes upon death, but the more the story unfolds and the more she becomes psychopathic. It’s hinted and it’s shown. The last Act of the game is her giving in to her PTSD. I think that, for once, this is absolutely brilliant.

The hell house fight is when I stopped playing the game. I think they did a good work with FFVII Remaster but… I also think that it’s really bad that you can’t go back to a place and go farming, that the materias cannot be moved so if you tried something that you did not like then tough luck fighting with whatever team you have.
Plus, I really miss the farming and the lack of “let me just fight some monsters for the sake of it”.

For a long time I thought KH to be the best game ever but… It is ! When you’re a teenager, when you’re going through angst. But when you’re a grown up, it is not as good.

It has to be Riku in Kingdom Hearts. He takes about 5 minutes or more to tell you that your path ends there and he actually delivers. Then he tells it again when you inevitably try again, because you can’t skip the bloody cutscene.

This is perfect for a non connected device. Something that you leave at your grandmother’s and only bring what you intend to play, leaving your bag light.

You know, let us be honest for five minutes.
Psychology has shown that we have biases against anyone who doesn’t look like us. It’s just survival 101 from not so ancient times.
So maybe your parents had theses biases, unconsciently. Maybe even, they have been raised in a society which was racist, by definition. If they have lived anytime before the eighties, things were really rough (not that it’s not right now, but it was something else…)
Now, let’s just say that at their core, they were racist. So what ? Is it really important ? They have shown you how to behave, what is right and what is not. They have worked to better themselves, so that is the only thing that should matter.
Because, in the grand scheme of things, your parents would have told you from age two : do not shit in your pants, and they would have done the same. With dementia, maybe at some point they even forgot that one rule so… Being racist is excusable, because, and I’m sorry, they were not themselves in their final hours.

For me, it has got to be tetris. It is still thriving, even today. Anyone can understand the base concept and play it : it’s simple and enjoyable, anywhen. Plus, it runs on remotely anything.

There is only one error in your equations (and that doesn’t change much about your point) is that the volume of that mixture is slightly lower.

- Comment on Reminder that you do not own digital games 3 months ago:
Why could you both not be right ? Yes, right now a DRM Free game is the closest thing that we get to owning a game. Yet, that wasn’t always true, we used to have an unlimited access to our video game, executable, as long as we had a disk.
But they took that from us ! 👿

If you really liked BG3 you might also like Neverwinter Nights 2 and DA:O. I heard there was a remaster of Neverwinter Nights 2 in the works, maybe give it a try when it comes out.

Yes,
Through regular use, psychosis is not unheard of. It is very unlikely to happen if you use it once but regular use will eventually cause psychosis. It will always start with paranoia, which is always the first side effect to appear with marijuana.

I have the same filters on. It does not lessen the fact that lemmy is obsessed with those two juggaloos.
I believe that, their plan has always been to saturate the news so that people talked about them, always. So when time comes to vote, you go for the candidate you think you know best, a.k.a the one you didn’t stop hearing about.
That, and the fact that people are saturated with your shenanigans, to the point that you can do anything stupid without people caring.

- Comment on I bought an HP Laptop with 8gb of Ram...and was suppose to be 256gb SSD. I downloaded one game and its all the way down to 80. Is there any free software to download to help? 9 months ago:
If you downloaded the game illegally then installed it on your hard drive then… You have your answer.
You might still have the downloaded game and you have the installed game. Depending on the fiability of your download source there might also be temporary install file, somewhere.
