There are bad trips. Sometimes, yes, ‘bad’ trips are just an expression of one’s mental state, exacerbed. You can look into it, ponder and maybe do some introspection because it is necessary.
But sometimes bad trips are just bad trips. The drugs just hit too hard, or you’re not prepared for it and you go spiralling down an infinite staircase of pain and anguish. But you have nothing to gain from it, except the memory of a bad experience.

That was Squaresoft, not Square Enix.

Seeing the success of Prince of Persia, it wasn’t much of a risk…

It’s been a while, but Rayman Origins and Legends were pretty solid titles.

The problem is storing energy…
But solutions are being developed by expoliting potential energy and it might be viable.

If you look at what he did to everyone who surrounded him, made Chase a paraplegic, bullied Wilson and Cuddy unrelentlessly, drove a car through Cuddy’s living room, made Foreman a lesser doctor than he was destined to be, was part of the reason cutthroat bitch dies, not forgetting the misdiagnosis and the general attitude, yeah… He was the villain of the show

There was a time when they were good, but they fell out of grace in the second half of the 2000s

I believe The Last of Us II actually portrayed this one thing oerfectly. At the beginning you can feel some of Ellie’s hesitation as she comes upon death, but the more the story unfolds and the more she becomes psychopathic. It’s hinted and it’s shown. The last Act of the game is her giving in to her PTSD. I think that, for once, this is absolutely brilliant.

The hell house fight is when I stopped playing the game. I think they did a good work with FFVII Remaster but… I also think that it’s really bad that you can’t go back to a place and go farming, that the materias cannot be moved so if you tried something that you did not like then tough luck fighting with whatever team you have.
Plus, I really miss the farming and the lack of “let me just fight some monsters for the sake of it”.

For a long time I thought KH to be the best game ever but… It is ! When you’re a teenager, when you’re going through angst. But when you’re a grown up, it is not as good.

It has to be Riku in Kingdom Hearts. He takes about 5 minutes or more to tell you that your path ends there and he actually delivers. Then he tells it again when you inevitably try again, because you can’t skip the bloody cutscene.

You know, let us be honest for five minutes.
Psychology has shown that we have biases against anyone who doesn’t look like us. It’s just survival 101 from not so ancient times.
So maybe your parents had theses biases, unconsciently. Maybe even, they have been raised in a society which was racist, by definition. If they have lived anytime before the eighties, things were really rough (not that it’s not right now, but it was something else…)
Now, let’s just say that at their core, they were racist. So what ? Is it really important ? They have shown you how to behave, what is right and what is not. They have worked to better themselves, so that is the only thing that should matter.
Because, in the grand scheme of things, your parents would have told you from age two : do not shit in your pants, and they would have done the same. With dementia, maybe at some point they even forgot that one rule so… Being racist is excusable, because, and I’m sorry, they were not themselves in their final hours.

Why could you both not be right ? Yes, right now a DRM Free game is the closest thing that we get to owning a game. Yet, that wasn’t always true, we used to have an unlimited access to our video game, executable, as long as we had a disk.
But they took that from us ! 👿
