Bow tie, but lower on the neck. Very dapper :)
(Also, in the future maybe post identical bodies/relation to background. There might be some subconscious preference occurring based on subject’s proximity to viewer or foot appearance.)

Are Beavers really cute? The teeth of these large water rodents are orange because they are full of iron, these teeth never stop growing.
But if you are being serious, women don’t really like being reduced to names that refer to their pudendum. It is objectifying.

3-panel comic from Poorly Drawn Lines
1st pane: Mouse with a red balloon, saying: "Everyday is a good day when you have a baloon. 2nd pane: balloon pops “POP” 3rd pane: Mouse laying down on couch, under a blanket, with the shades drawn-- his facial hair is coming in. - Comment on Would you ever have the nerve to do THIS? 4 weeks ago:

Origin: Possibly from mining, because valuable minerals often occur in geological veins.
Vain is vanity.

The state trial against Mangione will come before his federal trial, prosecutors said.
WTF? I never heard about federal charges-- isn’t that double jeopardy?
Like the reporter said, they might be trying to make it so there are no copycats, but they clearly don’t understand the number of people that wouldn’t want to be making it out alive. Their trumped up charges aren’t a deterrent.
If I were USian, I’d be mega-pissed that they are making the CEO’s death out like Luigi killed the king.

Ahh ok, clearly I need more weed!
I usually try to slip around geese, and if that fails I book it.

I’m not sure you meant to reply to me? I was just tryin to stick up for you against Johnny No-Posts.
I never advocated Bird Violence; I am Friend to Bird and had three bestie Steller’s Jays during the lockdown. They visited multiple times a day for nuts, and would wait for me on the patio.

As a Canadian, have you ever met a Canada goose?
I feel you OP.
Also, telling someone they should be embarrassed is toxic. WTF is with all the shaming on Lemmy lately? Be better.

In it’s first three months, Canada’s new Dental care plan has 75% of dentists signed up and 2.3m people.
As part of a phased rollout, the government began accepting claims for dental coverage for seniors in May and expanded eligibility to children under the age of 18 and Canadians with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate in June.
Remaining eligible Canadians are scheduled to gain access in 2025.

I quit a few months after those came out in my province, and it was a bit of a shock the first time I saw them; but then like most things, they just became stripes on the butt. I probably wasn’t their target audience though.
While they didn’t make me quit, (I had already decided on my “quit date”), I will say the extra graphic warning pictures were pretty damm effective for starting that conversation with self. I had to take a sharpie to a few packs.

Same. Dude started off on the semblance-of-sanity side and then betrayed logic and science in multiple stunning acts of pure idiocy.
This is Judas-as-metaphor, not picture The Last Supper.

Ya, I wanted to use a bland spy but there aren’t any-- I was going to use the Spy vs Spy guys because they are the most generic-looking, but ultimately I kept Powers because while he is stylish and fun, he is also really immature and the logo looks immature to me.

It doesn’t say “car” at all either; no elegance or prestige. It looks like a logo for bottled water or something.

Not who you asked, but here is another one:
clover lawn pic. Very bright green
Planted by my septuagenarian father with just seeds and water. This is three weeks in. He had to water a bunch at first while it was taking root, but it should need less water than grass. The grass prior was pretty toast, but he took the time to remove crabgrass.
I will take a nap on it next time I visit and let you know :)
