fox news is sharing billionaire propaganda? shocker.

not just the worst, but they somehow manage to release new locks that are worse than their old ones, as well as new locks with positively ancient design flaws that every lock manufacturer absolutely knows about. their most secure core is used in a PLASTIC LOTO LOCK and none of their metal locks, for no fucking reason. the incompetence is unbelievable.

if you pay with a credit card, your cc provider likely provides this same shipping insurance already. and there’s chargebacks for the rest of cases.

don’t worry, i googled it for you so you wouldn’t have to actually read anything yourself and you can just stick to speculating for attention on social media.
it’s third-party shipping insurance. but your credit card almost certainly offers the same protections already.

the heinz beans i see in the US are just the ones imported from the UK. if anything, the US would be bush’s.

no way, sadists use gentoo. i vastly prefer arch because i often need libraries that are newer than most package managers get in a timely fashion. i use fedora on my server for the opposite reason, but for my workstation, arch wins easily.

when i say “red grapes,” i’m always referring to the ones that are actually red because they have the most satisfying snap when you eat them.
- Comment on I need an adult 5 weeks ago:
two examples: white wine, white grape juice. both are very common.

the only thing i don’t like about this internet debate is the people who think they have super elite ball knowledge about salt+sweet being good. i love all sorts of salty+sweet things, i just do not like hot pineapple and think it makes the texture weird on pizza.
my weird pizza topping that i love is cashews. i’ve gotten a lot of “ewww!” responses to that, which i find so fuckin weird because they’re not exactly known for having a strong flavor.

to be fair, even hacker news users still sometimes say AI generated text can be spotted by emdashes even though that hasn’t been true for a long time, and those folks trend far qualified to comment than most public social media. same with generating hands, but i really only see that one on places like reddit. it’s not contained to lemmy, is my point.
- Comment on To “tent with aluminum foil”… 5 weeks ago:
the term usually also implies you don’t want the foil to touch the food because it will stick or trap steam too much, stuff like that.

and sometimes the bill is even higher with insurance because you aren’t eligible for uninsured discounts.

yeah it sucks. but next time you cook that recipe or something similar you’ll have a better idea of which dishes you need, yeah? plus having fewer dishes to wash can be extremely motivating, lol
