Huh, just from browsing the homepage, this seems to be more for searching local files.

Damn it, nutbutter. I was supposed to go to sleep, but I watched most of the video for you.
tl;dw -> Some random dude in Arizona ordered some coffee from cafe where all the baristas are girls wearing bikinis. When he pulled up to the drive thru window, the barista was shocked to see the man wasn’t wearing pants. She recorded him and posted the video online. The man panicked and killed himself.

- Comment on Should I use a "proper" password manager instead of Firefox? 1 month ago:
- Exporting and importing passwords is a time-consuming, annoying process
- There’s no guarantee your exported data will be entirely (or partially) compatible with the destination app
My migration from 1Password to Bitwarden was both of those things.
Vendor lock in doesn’t mean it’s impossible to move. It means there’s a huge burden to move.
- Comment on Should I use a "proper" password manager instead of Firefox? 1 month ago:
One of the huge benefits of using a third party manager is that your data is more portable! If you wanna use Firefox today, cool. But what if you want to use Safari tomorrow? Or Chrome later? Don’t self vendor lock yourself. I see those built-in OS/browser password managers as traps to prevent you from leaving.

which by the way was not expected to give perfect answers to questions
Except that’s how a lot of people treat it. And there’s so way to guard against that.

Apparently you maybe be able to migrate whole communities (and subscribers!?) to Piefed?!

Piefed is part of the fediverse, same as Lemmy.

Careful. I tried doing this once. The company didn’t like it and they ADDITIONALLY charged me a chargeback fee. So not only did I have to pay whatever bogus charge, I also had to pay a chargeback fee. :(
Maybe I could have taken them to small claims court but … eh … that seemed like too much work.

I was looking for MeGusta Bar, actually. Thanks, OP! 🍻

Yeah, you gotta add “meme”. This isn’t surprising?
It’s like searching for the word “information” and then getting mad because none of the search results are about “information for how to change car oil”. You’re searching for a general term and expecting a specific result.

?… I don’t get it… you’re getting more or less relevant results for the general phrase “me gusta”?
