According to this this (the site is in Spanish) the photo was taken back in 1997 by the reporter Óscar Berrocal while Shakira was visiting the facilities of a newspaper called El Heraldo in Barranquilla.
This is awesome. Stuch great genuine persona here being that this isn’t a stretch. Almost looks like right out of a Disney or Nickelodeon scene.
Just a photo from when she started to get famous on a local level, she was just a schoolkid who sang at the time
