I’m getting really sick of how easily some of you fall for these obvious divide and conquer tactics. Wake the fuck up and actually think critically for once. Climate change is far more of a class issue than generational one.

I loved BB and BCS but it feels like you’re putting them on pedestal. They’re obviously examples of great writing but they aren’t in a class of their own. I’d put Chernobyl or Band of Brothers on the same level. And I haven’t seen every show on this list.

Lemmy is basically identical to reddit in so many ways, and it looks like incessantly whiny commenters are one of them. The bots keep getting engagement from users so all this complaining means nothing.

Sony still has good IPs to fall back on, despite all the goodwill they’ve lost lately. The PS6 will sell just fine as long they launch it with a could reconmgnizeable titles.
Xbox is in deep shit because first of all, they’re competing with themselves. These no reason to get an Xbox if you have a PC. Secondly they’re IPs are trash. They ruined Halo and people don’t trust Bethesda anymore. Although I do think a new ES game would still print money.

NMS definitely has a progression system. It just might not appeal to everyone, especially people who don’t care for crafting games.

You didn’t have to move on. If you go like 10,000 ly away you can still teleport back from any station if you build a portal at your base.
I still have the same shitty base I built years ago even though I’m a few thousand ly away from it now.

Star Citizen gameplay sucks because the UX and controls are horrendous.
Also a different genre of game. NMS is more like a Minecraft in space than a pure exploration/combat game.

I’m required to use it for generating code. But that’s a small part of my job. Occasionally I’ll use it to research niche topics because it’s faster than a search but I’d be just fine without it. I spent 10+ years coding without AI. It’s just a tool, and one that’s easily misused by people with low aptitude. I see it all the time and have to leave comments and block PRs until people fix the slop it outputs.

Try visiting France. Almost everyone in the major cities speaks English to a competent degree. Only like a quarter of Americans speak Spanish equivalently. I mean not even all Latin people speak Spanish in the US.
