Pretty sure the defining quality is the “shit” part of the name. Aka low quality/effort.
Shitposts don’t need to be funny or interesting. Look at the whole corn, jeans or beans posts.
And judging by the amount of both praise and hate she’s getting, I’d argue that Violet is one of the best shitposters in this community.

Fair enough. But I do wonder. If they only had the standard version for sale and then 3-6 months later they’d put all the ultimate edition stuff for sale as a dlc, would you still call it scummy?

You go in once, you spend a minute to pick your fav hairstyle (which might not even be one of the exclusive ones) and then you never go in again. You do you, but I personally don’t consider that content. It doesn’t really change the experience of the game.
Even if we do consider it content for the sake of the argument, it’s what… an hour of content? That’s still silly to get upset over when you pay an extra 25% for it.
100 hours of content for 80€ vs 101 hours of content for 100€.

“Track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalise them to their former glory in this special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer, Wyman. Restore these and make them your own, including four vehicles that are only available in the Ultimate Edition.”
So you get 4 extra cars in ultimate. I’d hardly call those missions, but meh.
The rest is just other vehicles, skins, tattoos, etc.
Also “PTT Youngin$ Compound and Scores
One of Leonida’s loudest and most socially active gangs, the PTT Youngin$ grow premium hydroponics in places you’d least expect. Find a way to raid the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store in Southside Vice City and escape safely to score some special items and distinct contraband. "
Sort of sounds like a mission as well, but in the style of those “? " on the map in open world games that take 5 mins at max.

Probably talking about online stuff with mtx or just games with a subscription.

I’m not gonna buy either because fuck rockstar, but let’s be honest. The game is 80. The other 20 is just for some cosmetics.
- Comment on that’s why it’s just a summer fling 2 weeks ago:
I agree, mostly, as that’s how I read it as well. But I also think that it’s easier to misunderstand that you’re making it out to be. Because there’s context from your previous posts which isn’t explained in this meme. There’s just the mention of fling in the title but the actual meme only says “I wanna be single but I want you to be obsessed with me”. And a person in a non monogamous relationship wouldn’t refer to themselves as “single”, for example, which leads to more confusion, I think

Guy that’s mad because he’s been flirting with a woman and wants to get with her but she explains to him that she doesn’t wanna be with him but just wants him to want her.
It’s not how I read it initially, but hear me out…
Wants to get in a relationship but can’t? Check. Blames the woman for it? Check Incel’s perspective checks out, imo.

Yeah, no worries. In the end, we like what we like. Personally I don’t like it when I have to add sugar to the espresso. And for me, most places serve coffee that’s too bitter cause they roast the beans too much since that’s what was the standard for the longest time.
- Comment on I want it to slap me across the face 5 weeks ago:
Like I said, i was working with Italian suppliers, because it was an Italian place. So I wasn’t making french espresso. And I never said there wasn’t any difference.
I said the difference is in taste and smell. Because that’s where the difference is. No matter where you are in the world, a good espresso will look and feel the same. Because the beans don’t change the texture, they change the smell and the taste.
What you’re probably referring to as this big difference between Italian espresso and other places comes from the fact that in many places in Italy, when you order a coffee, they give you a ristretto instead of an espresso.
- Comment on I want it to slap me across the face 5 weeks ago:
First of all, in most places espresso costs 1.5-2€ euros regardless of “wave”. You can pay 2€ for an illy espresso from a “real italian” place or you can pay 2€ for an espresso from a place that roasts its own coffee or at least sources it from a decent place. Maybe where you are it’s different and I’m sorry that the coffee scene is that shitty, but over here we don’t pay extra for good coffee.
As for my experience …I’ve actually worked as a barista in France with Italian suppliers and have been to Italy plenty of times and talked to multiple baristas as it’s actually a passion of mine. So yeah, everything I’ve said is true. The 5-30 numbers were obviously just extremes to make a point. The fact that you couldn’t tell says more about you than anything else.
- Comment on I want it to slap me across the face 5 weeks ago:
Have you ever had espresso in a third wave café ? because most of them have the same “feel”. The only difference is in the smell and the taste. The taste and the strength of the coffee are related but not mutually exclusive. You can make a coffee with 5g of coffee and you can make a coffee with 30g of coffee. Obviously the latter will hit like a sledgehammer no matter what kind of coffee you use. But both will taste more like coffee when there’s good beans with a proper roast instead of the “classic” burnt, bitter roast.
Also, 99% of italian baristas just push a button to get coffee from a grinder then they slot it into the espresso machine and press another button to make the machine push water through the puck. There’s no skill involved. There’s a guy that works for the espresso machine maker that comes and calibrates the machine and the grinder and that’s the only guy with any skill in the process. And even that job isn’t that hard. Only third wave coffee shops still bother to calibrate their own machines(and even then, many don’t, from what I’ve seen) or use any other process that actually requires skill or a recipe.

Huh.. I never thought of it that way. And I can see how they’re similar but I feel they’re different still mostly because these are usually trolls or just idiots that come to complain, whereas those people usually post on fb/utube/etc. where they’re easier to ignore. Feels less targeted.

Fastest save of my life. Applies to so many things too. I never understood the appeal of showing up just to say negative things. I’m guessing it’s some need to drag people down to your sad level or something but it’s not something I can understand.

Oh yeah. That too. And I don’t really get it but hey.. if they like, who am I to argue?
- Comment on 🤭🤭🤭 1 month ago:
Hmm.. it’s not bad, but it’s definitely overrated so don’t feel like you’re missing out on much. As for what it’s actually like.. physically, most of the feeling is around the entrance and it’s obviously tighter so that part is cool. Plus it’s a bit of a taboo thing still so that makes it hotter, and in my experience women are usually surprised by how enjoyable it can be and I’m a big fan of women enjoying themselves so that makes it fun for me too.

Nothing, really, it’s just that Brazil had an exceptionally good generation like 30 years ago and nothing can ever beat that since at the time pretty much every single player in their starting 11 was a star for their respective teams with players.

Haha, I know what you mean. Starts feeling cool when it dwindles down to 6-10 people.. then when there’s 2-3 people left it goes into overdrive.
CS has plenty of moments like that as well.. especially when you’re left 1v2-3+… Haven’t played in a while but just thinking and talking about it makes me wanna pick it up again..

Cause you’re calling them angry based on the fact that they’re debating you. But they’re in their own thread discussing something they care about while you’re in a thread that according to you is pointless.
Claiming this isn’t interesting or news and yet the thread had 47 upvotes and only 1 downvote. While your comment has 7 upvotes and 6 downvotes, which makes it quite controversial and not what you make it out to be.
That’s gaslighting.

Nice gaslighting. Would probably work better if you hadn’t replied 6 times in less than an hour and to a post with 30 upvotes and only 1 downvote.

The stress/adrenaline is actually a pro for most people that play competitive games. For mobas.. same map, yes, same heroes no. It’s like chess but with 100 possible pieces instead of the same ones every time. Counter strike.. there’s actually many different maps with different strategies, so there’s variety. Plus, look at most other sports and activities. Most are unchanged. Again, chess, card games, football, etc. The fact that you can not play for 3 years and then pick it up again and not be completely lost is actually quite cool, imo. I wish there were more online games like that.

I’m pretty sure it’s the publisher who decides. They can either enable regional pricing or not. And many don’t. Simple as that, unfortunately.

Oh crap. I didn’t mix them up, I did assume, however. Wasn’t expecting it to be single player. I thought I was basically black desert 2. My bad
- Comment on Crimson Desert sales top five million 3 months ago:
Oh, yeah, I definitely agree. A high retention rate is obviously preferable but at such high sales numbers, I’m sure many of them are only gonna be there for a short while. I’m pretty sure not even WoW can retain so many people anymore.
Steam reviews are fairly positive, which is a good sign but I guess it remains to be seen how many will still be playing in a month or two. And how many will be back for the first content patches.
- Comment on Crimson Desert sales top five million 3 months ago:
You’re right but I think it might be relevant for retention? If they retain 10% of players 500k vs 5 mill sales makes the player base size quite different.
