Huh.. I never thought of it that way. And I can see how they’re similar but I feel they’re different still mostly because these are usually trolls or just idiots that come to complain, whereas those people usually post on fb/utube/etc. where they’re easier to ignore. Feels less targeted.

Fastest save of my life. Applies to so many things too. I never understood the appeal of showing up just to say negative things. I’m guessing it’s some need to drag people down to your sad level or something but it’s not something I can understand.

Oh yeah. That too. And I don’t really get it but hey.. if they like, who am I to argue?
- Comment on 🤭🤭🤭 1 week ago:
Hmm.. it’s not bad, but it’s definitely overrated so don’t feel like you’re missing out on much. As for what it’s actually like.. physically, most of the feeling is around the entrance and it’s obviously tighter so that part is cool. Plus it’s a bit of a taboo thing still so that makes it hotter, and in my experience women are usually surprised by how enjoyable it can be and I’m a big fan of women enjoying themselves so that makes it fun for me too.

Nothing, really, it’s just that Brazil had an exceptionally good generation like 30 years ago and nothing can ever beat that since at the time pretty much every single player in their starting 11 was a star for their respective teams with players.

Haha, I know what you mean. Starts feeling cool when it dwindles down to 6-10 people.. then when there’s 2-3 people left it goes into overdrive.
CS has plenty of moments like that as well.. especially when you’re left 1v2-3+… Haven’t played in a while but just thinking and talking about it makes me wanna pick it up again..

You’ve said it yourself, numbers go up all the time, that’s not news. Why are you surprised? Lmao

Cause you’re calling them angry based on the fact that they’re debating you. But they’re in their own thread discussing something they care about while you’re in a thread that according to you is pointless.
Claiming this isn’t interesting or news and yet the thread had 47 upvotes and only 1 downvote. While your comment has 7 upvotes and 6 downvotes, which makes it quite controversial and not what you make it out to be.
That’s gaslighting.

Nice gaslighting. Would probably work better if you hadn’t replied 6 times in less than an hour and to a post with 30 upvotes and only 1 downvote.

The stress/adrenaline is actually a pro for most people that play competitive games. For mobas.. same map, yes, same heroes no. It’s like chess but with 100 possible pieces instead of the same ones every time. Counter strike.. there’s actually many different maps with different strategies, so there’s variety. Plus, look at most other sports and activities. Most are unchanged. Again, chess, card games, football, etc. The fact that you can not play for 3 years and then pick it up again and not be completely lost is actually quite cool, imo. I wish there were more online games like that.

Cars, planes.. now talking boats too? Better than another live action remake, I guess.

I’m pretty sure it’s the publisher who decides. They can either enable regional pricing or not. And many don’t. Simple as that, unfortunately.

Oh crap. I didn’t mix them up, I did assume, however. Wasn’t expecting it to be single player. I thought I was basically black desert 2. My bad
- Comment on Crimson Desert sales top five million 2 months ago:
Oh, yeah, I definitely agree. A high retention rate is obviously preferable but at such high sales numbers, I’m sure many of them are only gonna be there for a short while. I’m pretty sure not even WoW can retain so many people anymore.
Steam reviews are fairly positive, which is a good sign but I guess it remains to be seen how many will still be playing in a month or two. And how many will be back for the first content patches.
- Comment on Crimson Desert sales top five million 2 months ago:
You’re right but I think it might be relevant for retention? If they retain 10% of players 500k vs 5 mill sales makes the player base size quite different.

Not really. There’s so many games out there, don’t waste your time with this one… It’s like outer worlds but not interesting and not funny and with some no man’s sky sprinkled in. But it’s so poorly done and the writing is so meh… Even if you add mods to fast travel and avoid other annoying things it’s still a 6/10 game at best.

Yes, ofc there’s lots of rubbish, it’s easy to make games. There’s tons of shit music. There’s tons of shit paintings, there’s tons of shit in every type of art. But there’s also more good stuff than ever before. And the previous stuff hasn’t gone away either, it’s just more and more. You can’t possibly enjoy all the good art that’s out there. Are you sure you still enjoy video games? Maybe that’s the issue…
Look up the year 2005 or whatever. Tell me how many you’ve played and how many you’ve enjoyed from that year. Some years are better than others especially if you have very particular tastes, but there’s no way there were more good games before than now.
Most of the games I’ve mentioned had budgets in the millions, but here’s some more big budget games from last year that were well received: Mario kart world ghost of yotei ninja Gaiden 4 south of midnight arc raiders Death stranding 2 donkey Kong bananza stellar blade Elden ring: nightreign metal gear solid delta Dying light: the beast
And that’s only a few that come up in a quick search. I’m not trying to piss on your grave.. but just because EA, Ubisoft and Activision aren’t making good games anymore doesn’t mean others aren’t.
- Comment on Hot Take: most modern games are designed to purely kill time 2 months ago:
Kingdom come deliverance 2, clair obscur, silksong, split fiction, citizen sleeper 2, ball x pit, blue prince, dispatch, hades 2, silent hill f, escape from duckov, outer worlds 2…
And that’s only last year and only the games I’ve played. I don’t have the time or the energy to try all the games that I want to… But sure, focus only on the bad stuff..
- Comment on Game franchises you like, but wish were anothet genre of video game? 2 months ago:
I’m assuming they mean western RPGs. For most there is no enemy respawn. You can only kill each enemy once. Or there’s respawn but at a set time like end of a chapter or when you’re in town or whatever.

Ah, fair enough. Only other option I can think of other than faceit for cs2 would be like a private community, with in-house games and stuff.

Back when I used to play CSGO a lot, faceit had very few cheaters. Is it worse now or something? Or why not play that?

If they’ve never heard of slayer that means they don’t really listen to metal so of course they wouldn’t know what to do with it. Metal is very hit or miss with non metal people. Even when talking about one specific band. I know plenty of people that have like a handful of metal songs in their playlists and it’s usually just one song per band and they dislike all the other songs that they’ve heard from those bands.
Tried asking them what they like about the songs and stuff when they asked for recommandations but the conclusion is always the same. People’s tastes are weird and make no sense.
- Comment on This is heresy but lol 2 months ago:
My oldest source for that is Supernatural. I don’t remember the exact episode, but in one of the early seasons the two brothers were in the car listening to music and Dean plays some Bon Jovi and Sam is like “Bon Jovi?! Seriously?!” And the reply goes something like “Bon Jovi rocks… On occasion”
Obviously not a serious source and obviously they don’t say Bon Jovi isn’t metal, just more of an amusing anecdote that I still remember almost 15 years later, for some reason.
But more seriously, Wikipedia lists genres there even if a band doesn’t belong in a genre. Simply because they have some elements of that genre. And in Bon Jovi’s case that was only on the early albums. You can go to the wiki page of their first 2 albums, for example and you’ll see that the genr e listed are “glam metal / hard rock”. Which means that even early on they weren’t really metal. More like metal adjacent. Obviously beyond that they went more and more towards rock.
But I do agree that the definition of metal has changed a bit. But mostly when talking about the early days, not anytime recently. For example bowling for soup has a line in one of their songs that goes something like “when did motley crue become classic rock?!” So you might be onto something.
Beyond that… There’s always gonna be silly purists that will try to gatekeep stuff. And metal has plenty of those. You can see it easily when there’s talk about the more commercial or experimental bands like sleep token or whatever.
