Just wanna say I own a set of medium silicone-tip Tongs which are useful in general but they would be my go-to in this situation.
Also I recently saw toaster tongs somewhere for like $5 … They looked like wooden chopsticks but attached at one end
But also I haven’t owned a toaster in 20y once I discovered the Toaster Oven, which fits more toast, has more granular control, and can cook other things. My current one is like 10yo I got it for $20.
I forgot this was ever a problem actually until I saw those wooden tongs and within a week I see your post.

Polish uses the Latin alphabet. Other Slavic languages use Cyrillic. That is neither.

Landline portable antenna phones had some prettybad channel bleed, esp if you live in an apt complex with a local Walmart - bunch of phones would all be the same cheapo Panasonic (or whatever) model and we’d hear someone pretty often if you stand in the right spot.

Only if they’re mismatched from one end to the other. You can use any color cable as long as both ends go in the same color port (eg yellow cable connecting the red ports). Also, you could totally do redPort-whitePort, your Left/Right would just be reversed.

I commented earlier that having to say more words is inefficient, but what yiu said made me think… In other languages I know, it’s basically spoken as "3rd August’… Eliminating the inefficiency. It’s really more English’s general inefficiency that irks me, more so than the order of the dates lol

Honestly it can take an hour just to get out of NYC from Manhattan, hitting the beginning of suburbs. It can then take another 30-60 to get through suburbs, depending on which direction youre headed.

I once saw a study on the Reading Grade Level of various newspapers, and some of them were like 7th grade. This was back in mid-2000s. Sicne Internet News exploded, it feels like it’s gotten much worse.

Played it at a friend’s sleepover. Some years later, I bought the N64 version from a Blockbuster for like $5 used and we played that a bunch too. I remember riding my frioend’s pegs on the way home. We got our other friend (at whose house we usually played Twisted Metal on PS1) and went to my house to take turns trying out all the characters. Great game, lots of funny lines and fun arenas.

I just wanna say I appreciate when a wholesome/earthport post gets on the frontpage and as I’m typing this I just noticed it’s on Shitpost lol I may have misunderstood the purpose of this community.
Anyway, we talk a lot about The Circumstances, but it’s nice to remember that one of The Circumstances is a not-yet-fucked environment and this is a pretty nice planet sometimes.
