Society Hill is a well-to-do historic neighborhood in Center City (downtown Philly). Average household income is like $175k, so some rich cunts are paying for it.

Now anyone who opposes Trump is a terrorist and can be persecuted by DHS using everything in PATRIOT act.

It’s a common talking point among the right that there aren’t really that many mass shootings in America if you exclude gang violence. Y’know, which is done by and only effects those people

- Comment on Trying (and failing) to receive IBP beacons on an SDR 3 weeks ago:
No problem and good luck! With your antenna now, you should be able to receive ADS-B, which is pretty cool. You can see what planes are flying overhead, how high they are etc.
- Comment on Trying (and failing) to receive IBP beacons on an SDR 3 weeks ago:
The problem might be your antenna, but it may just be the conditions right now. 14.100Mhz will have more consistent propagation than the higher frequencies.
I just went on KiwiSDR, which is a website that lets you access different SDRs around the world. I picked one of the stations in Japan and I wasn’t getting much of anything on the 20 meter band (14 Mhz range).
Check KiwiSDR. Just search for Japan and find the station that is closest to you. That will show you what you should be able to pick up if your set-up is working.
How big is you antenna? A dipole antenna works best when it is one half of the wavelength you are trying to receive. So you would want a 10m wide antenna for 14.100Mhz.

It’s also because Americans will spend thousands of dollars on cosmetic procedures for their preteens. Braces are not as common elsewhere. Europeans think a lot of Americans look like they have dentures because of this.

Hey I remember your posts from reddit. It’s cool to see you on Lemmy, and that you still post the texts of your podcasts ( I just prefer reading to podcasts so thank you!). I remember you posting about PlutoSDR. I have one, but I’ve only received ADS-B and broadcast FM. I should really hook it up again.
