A smutty harem game, “Fresh Women”. Please tell me this isn’t just a hypothetical…

She initially told me she was ok with it, then changed her mind when the opportunities arose. Now I’m torn between my own selfish desires and the life we’ve built together.

They’re known as ‘unicorns’ for a reason. Where I live you aren’t exactly tripping over women that want to be a mistress or join a threesome. My single friends sometimes have ‘friends with benefits’, but they are other singles - they aren’t fucking around with couples or married guys.
We met in our 30s and I wasn’t going to put our life on hold until the chance arose to test it. She genuinely seemed to want it - the constant, unprompted, dirty talk about me with other women when we were intimate really had me sold.
I know I’m cooked now. I was just commenting on how much less cooked I would be, in the same exact situation, if I were gay.

Maybe it’s a location/age thing, but I missed out on all that. I always made it clear up front what I wanted, and they’d often indicate they’re on board initially - until things got serious or an opportunity actually presented itself, then the insecurities came out and suddenly it’s all “Am I not enough for you!?”
In the latest case she really had me convinced, even though an opportunity never arose to put it to the test. Told me she was bi, said she wanted to see me with other women, said she was cool with an open marriage - everything I wanted to hear. It was only after marriage & kids that it became apparent she was NOT actually ok with it.
Funny that you’re having the opposite problem. Grass is always greener…

From what I’ve seen the gay community is full of ‘friends with benefits’. Seems pretty great. Sometimes I resent being straight, where monogomy is basically the only option, and any attempt to break out of it would make me look like a creep.

People that try to shame or attack others for their preferences come off as sad and petty to me at best, and borderline fascist at worst.
There’s endless systemic injustices and harmful ideologies to spend your energy fighting - stop trying to convince be to me angry at age gaps, men that prefer shaved armpits/pussies, women that prefer tall men, etc, etc.
I swear some of these people still want fascism, they just want on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Again, I’m not defending this particular guy - I’m criticizing his dad’s response, which is an attitude that’s prevelant today, especially amongst the youth. A lot of people hate on sex/nudity of any form in mainstream art, and their argument is generally “just go watch porn you creeps”.
Maybe Supergirl specifically shouldn’t be sexualized (even though she’s sexualized in most of the source material I remember), but if so, let’s come up with a better reason than “a containment genre exists for sex, and if you want to see it escape that box then you’re a degenerate!”.
- Comment on 📡📡📡 1 month ago:
See, that’s an example of a much better argument than “porn exists, stop being a creep”.
- Comment on 📡📡📡 1 month ago:
Sex is too important to be cordoned off to just porn.
Not saying this guy in particular is right, but I hate this attitude that “porn exists so we shouldn’t have sex, or nudity, or anything horny in other art forms”. We shouldn’t treat people like creeps just because they like/want horny art. Personally, I’d love to see more horniness and sexuality in our art.
Personally, I find the current cinema trend of “everyone is beautiful, but no one is horny” far creepier than the rampant sexualization in old 80s movies.

I do find it uncanny how consistently this happens. I won’t speculate as to why or if it’s good or bad - but I do find it really off-putting when I’m trying to relax and recuperate after sex, and suddenly I’m getting slapped with some existential question or interrogation about the nature of our relationship (even after getting married).

My company is an ESOP and shares don’t give us a voting rights or any actual control, it’s just a monetary incentive. The C-suite/board still control everything and unilaterally makes all the executive decisions.

The taste of toothpaste lingers for good a while and ruins the flavor of breakfast, especially orange juice.
The Way™ is Coffee/tea/juice to temporarily overwrite that morning breath feeling, then breakfast, then brushing teeth.

This is one of the big use cases I could see for a crypto like Monero. If someone made a Patreon-style site that used XMR, I’d be all over it.
It’s one of those network effect catch-22s though. There’s probably not enough people using Monero to justify creating a site like that - but we’ll never hit a “critical mass” of Monero users if there aren’t ecosystems that encourage its use.
