In fact, you can emulate every other console with pirated ROMs without anyone batting an eye
- Comment on How customer service jobs be 2 days ago:
Just wondering specifically how it can be so much worse
- Comment on How customer service jobs be 3 days ago:
I wonder why it’s so different in the US compared to my country (Denmark). McDonald’s has been awarded “best workplace” for several years in a row.
We do have much stronger regulations on employee welfare, mostly from unions. And of course much higher pay.
- Comment on How customer service jobs be 3 days ago:
What other societies have similar levels of customer entitlement? I think this is mostly prominent in areas with great inequality.
I have nothing to back this up with except for my own experiences though

Thanks, didn’t realize until I read this lol

I kinda agree with your first point, but AI assistance is so incredibly powerful that it’s foolish not to use it, unless you’re working on some really important logic. And even then, having an AI skim for common mistakes, inaccuracies or inefficiencies is still very valuable.
And what you’re describing is really “Unix philosophy” and I strongly agree with that. Make a piece of software that does its one thing really well, and have it communicate with a simple API (POSIX).

Correct. Written as pwned, pronounced “owned”
- Comment on pwned: do you pronounce it as "pohned" "pawned" or "owned" 4 weeks ago:
Shameful to not link the original series, but I fully agree, it’s definitely pronounced “ownage”, and anyone who says otherwise is a massive noob

Fun fact: pigs are very bad at cooling themselves, which is why they love to get in water or mud on hot days, so actually…
pigs are hot

Personally I always care about farting

It works more or less the same in Denmark, except we now switched to paying it over our taxes automatically
- Comment on Begun the kernel wars have 3 months ago:
You can always use hardware cheats. You can use a second device to read memory and video feed, then pass back ESP information directly onto the monitor, or even control inputs.
I wouldn’t be surprised if such devices are already available for mainstream consumers. Kernel-level anticheat is a joke.
- Comment on Begun the kernel wars have 3 months ago:
Bad Company 2 and BF3 were great too :(
Haven’t played any since, and definitely won’t defile my kernel with these new rootkit requirements.

The original NS was so fucking good, man. I lived in that game for several years. The competitive scene was awesome.

Very true, we do like our bicycles

They don’t have 50+ hours of mandatory training before hitting the roads like we do. In some states you can practically just go to an exam and luck out.
Their perception of freedom is messed up and literally causing huge amounts of unnecessary deaths.

I know there are a lot of bots on reddit nowadays, but I blame the bandwagoning bs more. It has just gotten worse and worse over the past 10 years.
