If you think you’re winning because you’re a corporate slave in capitalism then actually you’re losing at life.

Really? I go out of my way to search on duckduckgo when looking for products and filtering out Amazon.
Its been easy for me. My hatred of that man makes it worth the effort.

- Comment on Is it better to leave a country, or stay behind to fight for it? And what about the ethics of fleeing instead of staying behind? 2 weeks ago:
To me, nationality is just a roll of the dice. You shouldn’t have to stay somewhere just because you were born there. You wanna leave? By all means, go have your life’s adventure.
And immigration should be widely supported in terms of higher ethical standards. Countries who make it difficult for people seeking to find a comfortable place to live is more immoral than a person seeking a new home.
- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 3 weeks ago:
Whenever I attend a protest, there is 0 media stations in attendance or covering it.
By design. They’re under control.
Honestly, I think everyone’s waiting for the masses to be just pissed off enough to kick it up a notch.
- Comment on How likely is the US government going to identify and arrest every online user who have disagreed with the current administration? 3 weeks ago:
Listen at some point its time to realize you dont give a fuck about their threats, accept death as a possibility, and keep to your principles.
Like that man who stood in front of the tank during Tianamen Square protests of 1989.
Im pretty sure were headed into such an event locally.

TIL fetish doesn’t always mean sexual. I dont think as an American ive ever held an American flag or wore one.
I do remember wearing Puerto Rican flags as a kid at Puerto Rican parades. But not as an adult.
But yeah, we’re kinda weird with patriotism. Its always made me uncomfortable.

You should see the condom ads in my neighborhood. Little ones happily throwing litter on the ground without any parent in sight.

- Comment on UK citizens say it is more important to support Ukraine than to maintain good relations with US, survey shows 1 month ago:
As an American, agree. Its not anyone’s fault outside the US that my fellow countrymen are fooled and cheering on a buffoon.
I really do think Trump is a Putin puppet put here to kill us Americans and then get a one way ticket to Russia. But the resistance in smaller and tight knit countries should go on. Stay strong.

This is so true. I read online and see how panicked and angry people are at us in the states. It breaks my heart. But I just read and listen instead of respond lately.
I notice how much our apps are made to make us angry or sad. All to prey on people to buy things to make them feel better.
But when I hang out with my family who all voted Kamala or friends, or just being kind to strangers in real life – Its just a whole new vibe of hope that we will get through this.
Im trying more and more to get outside my bubble and be more social. It feels like a great way to protest tech oligarchs.

Ive deleted all those apps. They really got greedy. And the crazy part is I think I remember the government giving them money for grocery delivery.
I dont get it.
