The Internet is so bloated because every page is bursting with telemetry and spa framework bullshit that over engineers a fucking music recital site.

My dad used to watch porn in the living room while my cousins and I used to play video games on the PC right beside the TV. He always left the volume too loud, honestly who actually wants to hear fake moaning anyway?

Facet grid is a godsend, haven’t seen anything like it in Excel. However, I will admit ggplot syntax and functionality is cryptic af, so I ask chatgpt for help and it’s surprisingly accurate on this topic

I can’t get over the UI, in sure it’s good like with Dwarf Fortress, but I would ask how long it took you to feel like you had a bearing on what was going on/fun?

Rise of nations is also really good. Is like Civ in RTS form.

Isn’t that impossible, because let’s say you use 3 as the base, the only way 1 and 2 could connect is if they were at 0 angle.

I was interviewed for a job where lady have me a pen and asked if it was a conductor.
I replied: "if the voltage is high enough, yea. She scoffed. Needless to say, I didn’t get the job.

I don’t have the facts of the case, but it’s not like the defenders have the luxury of knowing the intruders intentions and how they will behave, but considering they are already doing something severely illegal, it’s not much of a stretch to think the intruder would be willing to put their life at risk, and in that context, it is absolutely justifiable to kill in defense.

This is broken window fallacy, akin to throwing garbage on the floor so some custodian keeps his job. These workers still have other shit to do. I get to waste less time waiting. So it’s win-win-win situation.
- Comment on how do I accept I'll never know why any employer rejected me? 9 months ago:
Life is all about probabilities, you can do everything right and still lose (however doing everything"right" is nigh impossible). You lose if they have a better candidate, you lose if their department is suddenly not in need of the position, etc.
With that mentality, I don’t bother with CVs, and just use the time saved to apply to more jobs or maybe some kind of relevant project.

- Comment on Anon's coworker is a flat-earther 11 months ago:
It doesn’t matter in the context of effort/reward. He’s not gonna listen, you lose cohesiveness, and there’s just added stress overall.
And the job isn’t exactly rocket science you can literally have downed and still stock shelves. Flat earthers are more about desperately wanting to believe in something that places you in an exclusive ingroup, not about legitimately proving something.
