In socialized medicine, you can be unemployed and walk into a hospital and get treatment.
In a private healthcare system, you can be fully employed and have health insurance yet still get denied.

She’s a monster, a selfish horrible monster. Who else is going to kill all those little schoolgirls when the US can’t afford to do it anymore, because they’re busy only caring for themselves? It’s like she can only think about herself. Awful. /s
You know what the irony is?
Your taxes DO pay for a stranger’s insulin. That stranger just happens to bomb children for a living.
what radicalized you? /s
Wait till their super project for replacing the workforce is complete. Then you won’t have a say in where to spend money at all.
US citizens pay for Israel’s weapons and free health care while we are raped from capitalist gains in the insurance/ pharmaceutical sector.
Wow such an extremist
But but that’s Private Enterprise Small Government Christian Nation Survival Of The Fittest!
Many people are saying there are communists posting here.
Radical lunatic

NHS costs about 4600$ per recipient
Spanish healthcare system 5346$ per recipient
Canada’s is about 5000$
The US PUBLIC healthcare spending (Medicare, medicaid, VA, ACA subsidies) is about 5600$ PER CITIZEN (not recipient).
IE:
Americans already pay enough in taxes for 100% free comprehensive healthcare for everyone, but get fuck all. The average household pays between 15000$ to 20000$ for healthcare.
The American system is not inefficient, it is an extortion scam that steals trillions from working Americans and kills about 40,000 Americans per yeat.
Wanting the US healthcare system is like wanting a 9/11 every month.
We could give every American 100% free healthcare, without rising taxes. Imagine what would happen to the economy when every household has an extra 15k$ of disposable income?

But in Canada you may have to wait to see a doctor! Checkmate socialists!

Which means you were triaged and are not among most critical cases. Wanna know what happens in an American ER when you aren’t visibly in critical condition?

The thing people don’t realize is that we already have universal healthcare, but in a stupid, cruel way. A hospital will treat anybody, but they’ll go into debt for the amount they “should” have paid, and everyone who does pay already pays for them.
Also - If anyone reading this is uninsured and needs medical attention - get treatment and ignore the bills. Medical debt might as well be imaginary. It’s essentially ignored by credit bureaus. Hospitals sell it off to debt collectors who will try to get you to pay, but just end up selling it off again and again until it goes away 99.99% of the time.
Don’t ignore something potentially serious over financial concerns.

This is not really true though. If you need cancer treatment and don’t have insurance (or if your insurance won’t cover treatment) you can’t just walk into a hospital and demand to see a specialist, much less get surgery or chemotherapy.
Yes they will take you in for your last moments and put you in a corner to die, but that is not what people normally think of as healthcare.

The White House recently posted that it would cost $35,500 per household per year to enact Medicare for All.
Obviously, that’s total horseshit, but that’s the attitude we are fighting.

We know it, thanks for the figures though, I will write this down. I don’t want to bother you for a source, but if I cite these figures elsewhere I would need one, and I will, cite these figures if I am able.
