Talking with the kids before about the half time entertainment at the grand final. I mentioned Kylie Minogue and Miniest looked at me blankly and said, “I don’t know who that is.” Neither did Elder. 😮Played snippets of popular and recent songs and showed her a picture or two. Nope, genuinely no idea at all. The eldest was trying but also had no idea 🤯It occurred to me that Kylie Minogue is 58 years old. How did she suddenly(!) become 58 years old?! To be fair they had no idea who the other performers were either 🤷🏼♀️

Got new shoes 2 days ago and now I’m falling up stairs. Not used to the extra mm or 2 with the sole. Better than falling down stairs i guess 🙃

Occasionally I wake up with what I call a high menopause day. Maybe twice a month. Brain fog, blurred vision, jittery. A definite no driving day. So today I thought I’d do an experiment. I had a Vyvanse. And no it’s nobody’s medication. No I’m not abusing them. I’ve had them for 6 months and this is a first time try.
These are my findings so far. The brain fog is still there. My eyes are still a little unfocused. Motivation is still the same as always. I can self motivate myself quite easily anyway. I am a little more active than a usual high menopause day. I’m a usually active person but on days like that I do tend to not over do things. I do feel like I could chat someone’s ear off. I have no muscle pain. Heart rate is fine.
Would I take it again. Probably. I’m not in a hurry to though. I can see how it helps people. I’m just going about my day. Taking breaks. Drinking a lot of water. It’ll be interesting to see the the effects later.

Ah feels good to work hard and come home with so much sun left to enjoy.
I’m stoked to have this role. I spoke to one of the owners (he’s always on the floor too working his butt off which is a great sign to me) and he said I’ve gotten good feedback from my packroom supervisor, so I should get more shifts :3
