    “The party” is the DNC, and it’s controlled by the chair for a four year term. If a Dem becomes president, they choose the chair.

    So blame the DNC chair, at the time it was DWS, and yeah. She was a giant piece of shit.

    But blaming the current “party” for shit from a prior just tells everyone you don’t understand how this works

      Is there any kind of “here’s the people we recommend, you should really pick from the list” type shenanigans? I guess there’s no real way to know, but that’s the only way I could see it being less authentic.

    TBF, most only learned of his existence when he was baiting Texas for their promised reward money for finding proof of voter fraud. He put on a pretty good progressive face at the time & fooled a lot of people.

  This was many years ago and for the record not only has he never apologized, when asked to do so (in the aftermath of Arbery and during his senate run) he doubled down and refused to apologize

  Not great that Fetterman never apologized, but it does look like even the “black man running” (Christopher Miyares) is endorsing Fetterman. In fact the article I found mentions his district is majority black and he is polling at 61% still so a majority of black voters seem to still accept him.

  Apparently this incident was also propped up big time by the “Republican Jewish Coalition’s political action committee” during an election. So there’s truckloads of bias floating around.

  Not saying this video is wrong and I actually didn’t know about this incident but it seems this whole incident was him genuinely making a bad mistake.Though he most certainly should apologize.
