Not that I’m aware of, no.

Rational and rationale are two different words. This page gives some good examples for both: writingexplained.org/rational-vs-rationale-differ…

I’ll take small menu ordering every time. If we’re all getting the same thing and the choice is quantity, it’ll likely be fresh.
- Comment on Mask Quest - A Platformer Where You Have to Manually Breathe. Survive a Pandemic Lockdown, Escape Police Brutality, and Find a Surgical Mask. 1 month ago:
unique breathing mechanic, where you have to press a button to inhale and release the button to exhale
I get that a satirical game about the pandemic probably just isn’t my cup of tea, but this breathing mechanic sounds like such unnecessary tedium.

The fact that users wanting a “feature complete” product at launch is seemingly news to them is absurd.

- Comment on Is Everyone Conscious in the Same Way? | Simon Roper 2 months ago:
My partner has a similarly vivid visual thinking and a “crowded” internal monologue. They also have a hard time keeping focus.
- Comment on Is Everyone Conscious in the Same Way? | Simon Roper 2 months ago:
I think my lack of internal monologue and inability to visualize is why I’ve never been able to get into reading. I’m a little jealous when I hear people describe books as “like watching a movie in your mind”.

Even if they don’t actually “use” the DLCs, it makes sense to require the same content that the developer owns and used to test the mod.

This looks really promising. I’m interested to see what QoL changes are coming for this cycle.

Is it the nearly flat roof that makes you say that? It looks like maybe 4 inch rise across eight feet, so a 1:24 pitch. “Roof felt” was the only roof covering I saw. Oh and they lined up all the siding seams which probably isn’t great.
- Comment on Dark & Darker is now back on Steam 5 months ago:
I tried this for about thirty minutes today. Seems like it could be good once there’s a little better guidance for new players.
- Comment on Images leak of Valve's next game, and it's an Overwatch-style hero shooter 6 months ago:
Have you played A Plague Tale (innocence, then requiem)? It’s one of the best story driven games I’ve ever played. It’s entirely linear, so plot urgency doesn’t feel artificial like it does in open world games.
- Comment on It's out now! The prologue for my solo project, a roguelike tower defense, is live. Check it out. 6 months ago:
Played a bit and enjoyed it. I really like the concept of the first skill having way less cool down. I found the scaling information a little hard to follow. For example, skill does 1 + 20% (icon) damage. This could be improved by also putting the formula in plain language, i.e. “20% of elemental damage plus 1”.
The auto skill feature could make this an excellent mobile game. I played with all my skills on auto attack and it worked quite well.
Some of the stats could use some more explanation. Element and support were particularly vague. Also the first skill cool down stat, I had a hard time figuring out how useful more of that stat would be since the tooltip still showed the skill’s original cool down.
Overall a really cool concept and implementation. Looking forward to playing the full release.
- Comment on Nurses with an overbearing manager, how do you pass time at work without getting caught? 7 months ago:
Keep in mind that nursing is a four year bachelor’s degree. There are other options, but the four year degree is most common in the US. That means many nurses chose their profession when they were just out of high school. Nursing being a stable, well paid, and highly in demand career is something that everyone hears about. Blaming nurses for taking that to heart and pursuing it as a career is questionable at best.

- Comment on "Why are TV Cameras still huge and expensive?" 1 year ago:
How far back would you have to go for today’s phone cameras to compare to the big TV cameras? It seems like the latest and greatest will always be large, but the small cameras will also continue to improve over time.

- Comment on Control Ultimate Edition on Steam | 75% off - 9,99€ 1 year ago:
I absolutely agree. I liked a lot about this game, but not enough to actually finish it. Combat was just frustrating, especially going from feeling powerful to powerless seemingly at random.

PoE is most complex, D3 is least complex, and Last Epoch is in the middle.

Think of it as a middle ground of complexity between D3 and PoE. It’s a ton of fun even in its current early access/beta state.
- Comment on Lords of the Fallen Review Thread | (74/100) 1 year ago:
Yeah, I don’t think I’ve heard it from anyone else either. It generally only applies to PvE content like in RPGs. I do enjoy some shooters like CS:GO.
