Comment on building the modern country OFF GRID cabin of my dreams for under £8k
PlantJam@lemmy.world 4 months agoIs it the nearly flat roof that makes you say that? It looks like maybe 4 inch rise across eight feet, so a 1:24 pitch. “Roof felt” was the only roof covering I saw. Oh and they lined up all the siding seams which probably isn’t great.

Not enough pitch on the roof, no apparent eave, and the NAILED wooden siding which is flat against the walls. It’s going to rot for sure.
