lemmy has no right to bring up þ after shitting on the thorn guy so much
KSPAtlas@sopuli.xyz 20 hours ago
yeah I kinda miss him NGL I hate how much hate he got
I’m not one of those bringbackthorn people (imo if there’s ever gonna be a spelling reform it should focus more on consistent spelling) but I don’t mind people who use it

Just use #.
It was just an obscure character, toiling in the sidelines. Then Twitter happened.

Dog Pompadour
The missed opportunity would have been a Pomeranian Pompadour.

I see the business in the front, but where’s the party in the back?

It’s me, I’m the character with the tragic backstory.

But I can’t find the MimicJar button on my keyboard :(

That’s why my password contains 63, the product of 9 and 7. 9 was tragically killed and eaten by 7, right in front of poor 63 and others. Now 63’s drive to prevent future tragedy is turned up to the nines.

… can you do zalgo text / diacritic fuckery with a password?
coffee_tacos@mander.xyz 21 hours ago
The database shouldn’t have any issues, since it will be getting a salted hash (one would hope). Usually there are safeguards on the auth system blocking that kind of stuff so that people don’t create passwords they can’t type. However, it would be technically feasible to allow those characters in a password.
sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 18 hours ago
Yes, one would hope, lol.
I’ve been in charge of my own db and auth systems.
I had to turn the previous uh, ‘hope’, into code.
For a pretty large organization, hahahaha!

Do you know why 6 is afraid of 7?
calmblue75@lemmy.ml 23 hours ago
Because 7 is bigger and 6 might lose against it?

I tried to think of something other than the usual 789

Why would 7, the bigger of the numbers, not simply eat the smaller ones?
