That’s the world we all dream of, right? We work on what we want to with the robots keeping the houses in check and taking care of the menial admin- and paperwork and in the evenings we all sit together by the campfire with the robots bringing us food and drink as we rejoice in talking to each other about the day’s experiences.
That doesn’t seem to be the world that we’re moving towards though…

You sound like a lunatic traumatised war veteran. The war has been over for a long time, the decisions have been made and there is no going back, my friend.

Making a new browser is easy. They want to buy a near monopoly over the browser market, not a browser.

This kind of rhetoric doesn’t sit well with me. There is a difference between being a pedophile and abusing children. Pedophilia is a mental disorder and I can imagine that being attracted to children is pretty damn terrible if you’re also trying to do the right thing. I think there needs to be acceptance towards pedophilia (not towards abusing children) so that the affected people feel safe in talking about their condition and get the appropriate help (so that they don’t end up abusing children).

I haven’t had any such run-ins yet. When I asked them to replace my iPad’s batteries, they said that they couldn’t do it, but gave me a new iPad of the same model for CHF 100.- (which would have been the price of the battery replacement).
