    Vietnamese for lunch, my mouth is on fire and the serving was so large that I once I had my fill I still had an entire bowl for tomorrow.

        I do enjoy that I work somewhere that accepts that sometimes I’m going to SCREAM in the warehouse, whether it’s out of happiness or absolute horror. Sometimes you just gotta.

      Work is weird - we’re doing shittonnes of fix ups for our clients where they’ve made mistakes in their specifications, but very few new orders, specially for trusts. Everyone is chewing their fingernails down to the elbow waiting to see what the new legislation re taxation on trusts will be. So I am alternating between running around like a mad thing, and veging out to YT.

        It would be a very strange time to be in any sort of finance/investment related role. Alternating between madness and veging out sounds like my normal work day, emergencies are always erratic.

      I installed the new jack in the bass I was loaned. The crackle has stopped but there’s now a hum from the amp when I’m not touching the stings.

        I had this once on a bass I inherited. Reversed the wiring on the jack and it stopped. May be worth a try?

    Haven’t heard anything about the interview I had, so I guess I didn’t get the job. Kinda tired of just being ghosted; isn’t hard to just have a template rejection and BCC everyone who didn’t get the role.

    But what do I know? I’m just an unemployed idiot I suppose.

    I’m sad that Neil Daniher died. It was inevitable but still sad. He spent the sickest years of his life advocating for awareness and research into an awful disease. Hope all the donations lead to some discoveries.

    just cancelled hair appt, not only am I not up to it but I am now scared to get my hair dyed in case I have an allergic reaction 😿

    i will do an allergy test at home sometime next week and see how I go, but 😿

        Apparently they were wet. There was a fire, everybody is pissed there is no more microwave, and a very bad smell.

      I don’t remember anywhere near so much fog in Melbourne as this year. Granted the outer suburbs & rural is a bit different.

      Please join me in ill-wishing the students on the tram with copious wet sniffles and sneezes and not a mask in sight. I am a kind, calm and patient woman, but this really gets my blood boiling.

    The new keyboard worked as intended at trivia, but the ergonomics were off. It still works perfectly fine so maybe it will be a lounge room keyboard.

    There’s another keyboard on Aliexpress I like the look of. I’ll get that one and see how it goes
