Never made sense to me that House and his crew were always complaining about how they couldn’t afford things. House would even leech off of Wilson in the cafeteria by making him pay for his food all the time.

lots of doctors have money issues.

I mean, maybe they never show you how many malpractice lawsuits House produces between miracle cases. So he is poor paying for them all.

Pain pills aren’t cheap. My ex would by Oxys for $45 a pill.

Your ex got scammed

Definitely.

Unless your ex was buying 150mg horse pills, your ex was scammed.
10s could be easily had at $2-3.
Axeman666@sh.itjust.works 1 day ago
Dude, where are you buying oxys for $2-$3? No doubt she was definitely scammed. When I was buying I never spent quite that much, but I always had personal sellers who had scripts. I never bought oxys though. It was usually percs or hydros. She had a connection to get really strong oxys, but I always thought she was overpaying.

House living in an apartment seems on brand. He’s the kind of guy to find a place that works and would never want to move.

> Sherlock Holmes
> Probably never once locks a home in the books, let alone multiple; try proving me wrong if you dare, liberals (I haven’t read them)
MimicJar@lemmy.world 2 days ago
So the stories of Sherlock Holmes are public domain and freely available online. I did my best but I can not find an instance of Sherlock Holmes locking a home. He does instruct someone to lock a door within their home, which they do, but that’s the closest I could find. There are also lots of cabinets and things that need locking and unlocking, but that’s hardly a home.

Diabolical. I’m still at least holding out hope that, at some point, children’s TV character Arthur Read and talk show host Conan O’Brien have cowritten for the Finnish broadcaster Yle – else why would it be advertised on the covers of those books?
