I’ll rewatch Star Trek too. I haven’t seen it as much as my ex and I watched The Office together. I usually try to watch new stuff, but sometimes it helps me sleep.
I’ve never been in a relationship where my partner watches my stuff, but I’ve seen all of girly stuff that I never wanted to watch.

Yea, same boat. The last long term relationship I just got out of early this year we watched The Office basically on repeat. I’ve seen the whole series about 300-400 besides the last 1 or 2 seasons because they hated the seasons without Michael. It’s a cozy show for sure and good for background, but I’d rather watch almost anything else.

It was nothing new for me. I grew up with 2 sisters that were very close to my age so I was already letting them decorate my face and hair long before I got into high-school. Still though, it’s a good message to anyone at that age. Don’t take yourself or your “masculine pride” too seriously and just have fun.

Dude, where are you buying oxys for $2-$3? No doubt she was definitely scammed. When I was buying I never spent quite that much, but I always had personal sellers who had scripts. I never bought oxys though. It was usually percs or hydros. She had a connection to get really strong oxys, but I always thought she was overpaying.

Another unfortunate fact is that there are a lot of right wing people in IT. That’s something I’ve learned in national conferences. I always hang out in places like this so I had no idea how bad it was, but at least 50% of the people I’ve at IT conferences were right leaning. There’s only 1 on my team. 2 if you count the libertarian.

Again, we shouldn’t support the murder of anyone or anything even if they deserve it. Regardless, I won’t judge anyone who wants people like Trump and Charlie Kirk to disappear. Many of us are just fighting for our right to exist. Republicans hate minorities, trans, gay, and anyone different from them and they are using ICE to attack anyone they deem different.
I’d much prefer if Trump were removed from office dishonorably and we appointed someone who could return sanity to the US. However, I won’t judge anyone wishing death on those that want them dead and the power to make it so.

To be honest, I understand being happy that someone who spread so much hate was murdered. This is a person who vehemently believed that gay and trans people shouldn’t exist. I completely understand the hatred of this man, but he is a human being and a sentient being. We really shouldn’t be supporting the murder of other humans even if we hate their views. I will concede however that that may be the only way out of the mess we’re in.
There are more of us than there are of them and yet we’re still under the control of those that hate us. If they won’t play by the rules then violence is the only option we have left. I’d much prefer the peaceful option if it were an option, and I hope that sanity will return to the US soon.

It depends. What is the footage of? If you’re watching someone get attacked, murdered, and/or raped and you don’t feel sick to you stomach I’d say something is wrong with you. If you’re watching a city being attacked and you don’t see casualties of war I’d understand if you don’t sympathize because you’re only seeing buildings being destroyed not the humans are being affected. It’s hard for a lot of people to empathize unless they’ve gone through something similar. It’s still not great that you can’t put 2 and 2 together, but it’s not abnormal.

I will always die on the hill claiming Dreamcast as the best console. It was so far ahead of it’s time and it had so many great games. I would kill for Sega to release a new console, but I imagine many of the people who helped create the Dreamcast went on to work for Nintendo. I’ve always considered the Wii and Wii U to be the true successors to the Dreamcast and I’ve wondered if they were created with the help of people who made the Dreamcast.

Out here in Maine it’s pretty common to have to travel for work. All of the jobs are in or around Portland, but you can’t fucking afford to live where you work so many people have to live further north and travel south for work everyday. It’s the ideal environment for remote work, but fucking boomers run everything so they expect you in the office everyday.

Internal hemorrhoids make sense, although nothing seems to trigger it and I don’t feel any pain. Most of the time I don’t even realize until I look in the toilet. It happens so randomly. The doctors initially thought it was bacterial ulcers because they didn’t feel anything during the examinations. I’ve never had a colonoscopy only rectal examinations.
