Would any one believe that I am master of slaves by my own purchase? I am drawn along by the general inconvenience of living without them. I will not — I cannot justify it, however culpable my conduct. - John Patrick Henry US Founding father

Is slavery even forbidden by the bible?
No its encouraged, as is your daughter marrying her rapist
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations
In the US they do this with Mexicans now but not Canadians… yet.
Exodus 21:7. says its ok to sell your daughters into slavery
as examples, working on the Sabbath ??
Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death.

Took me about 4 dudes in trucks “polietly” informing me of my trangression for me to realise… keep right :)

indeed, came to point this out, nothing much has changed in 1000s of years though. Pie 'n footy os the new Bread 'n Circuses.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bread_and_circuses
Juvenal originally used it to decry the “selfishness” of common people and their neglect of wider concerns. The phrase implies a population’s erosion or ignorance of civic duty as a priority
Loving in Has main a the biggest concern of the public is a es AFL football stadium and yet we have the worst health outcomes, the worst educational outcomes etc etc

Astronaut Chuck “Chuckles” McGee flew there, landed and while taking a shit outside wondered why everything smalled like piss and reported back
or
they know the chemical composition based on the JWST and we know the chemical composition of piss, so one thing leads to another and here we are

upper class = still wage majority but more from dividends/trusts etc
elites = dividends, capital gains, trusts, other, and wages are all pretty close to each other in %
these two groups get the most “government assistance”

We just had a by election here in Australia for a vacated aeat and our Reform aka One Nation Party also won.
I am not sure why they hate the country, other people and the.environment so much and it’s appalling but it is what it is.
The party leader was just gifted a private jet the other day from one of our truly repugnant billionaires and apparently this means she’ll be able to connect with the everyman.

Like Trump accelerating the transition to renewables and e vehicles across the world with his bumbling incompetence, MS is hastening the transition to Linux from theres, i was there from MS DOS days until early 10.
They really just need to use the Linux Kernel and do their own “Windows” skin on top, like Tuxedo etal
i gave up and have been on Linux Mint then LMDE for 4 years now, fucking hell, all i want to do is click the icon on the toolbar and use the app i selected. My gf uses 11 on her laptop.

that was to keep supply up for air conditioning, now we’re transitioning other appliances as well.
the gold plating was needed because Aussies wouldn’t tolerate thermostats being turned down remotely for short periods, to ensure less demand. More AC is needed because of climate change
It’s like roads, we build to transport everyone into and out of town at the same time, rest of the time they sit there mostly empty, same kind of stupid thinking.
eventually it all collapses under the weight of its own stupidity but until then we have the Olympics to spend billions on /s
