A brief explanation/delimiter between images may have been nice. Thought the square pond was related to the silver peak when scrolling through. Just a collection of silly names. I couldn’t quickly find out why the square pond is named such ;(

Back in 1900 Square Pond was considerably larger than it is today and its shape was different. However, a mill company dammed the streams leading into it reducing its volume greatly. Prior to this it was known as Crystal Lake. Due to over development, the lake is dying from lack of oxygen.
