I know no one cares but on the off chance that someone does, the picture is from this song.
It’s a song made basically entirely of Japanese onomatopoeias. It’s brought me so much joy I’d love if it makes one other person feel that way.

What a great tune to start my day to. Thanks for sharing!
I think its charming
Me too!
Yes, you’re also charming.
Yeah, though I don’t really like the ones that can be missed by playing the game too well, like the “die to boss x times”.
Yeah, I’m really not getting the joke here. It just seems like they are listing normal game achievements, which I would probably ignore anyway.
I like that the “open game” archivments are mostly at like 70%
It gives a point of reference for the others. Though it should probably just be the base for calculating the other percentages.
I just haven’t got around ooh a sale!
Seeing achievements that actually are hard to achieve and aren’t grindy brings me joy
Yeah, I wish they were only that, instead of “collect all 1000 mcguffins” or “defeat a boss with 1 life left.”
I swear some games just load them up at the start so it looks like you were playing for longer when others see you have “SO MANY ACHIEVABLES”
I haven’t seen one in a while but I was so fucking sick of seeing bigger they are harder they fall references in the early days of achievements
Ratchet and Clank did trophies the right way and made them fun little challenges that unlocked cheats and other gameplay twists.
Going for all the gold bolts was actually fun.

Speaking from experience: in many cases, they’re cliche because project managers, producers, and execs take over writing achievement names & descriptions instead of letting the writer(s) do it.
It’s happened on literally every game I’ve worked on.
