I think Apex has had EAC for atleast 2-3 years but yeah I am unsure if they switched from a non-kernel level or not.

Apex Legends does use Kernel anticheat
- Comment on Surprise! Nuclear Throne has a new update that's mostly for people that insist on only playing games that can do 60fps 1 month ago:
I am not sure. If my game is running at 30 it is usually dropping frames as well. I didn’t know nuclear Throne was 30fps for instance. That being said I don’t remember playing Nuclear Throne at all and I have every achivement on steam…
- Comment on Surprise! Nuclear Throne has a new update that's mostly for people that insist on only playing games that can do 60fps 1 month ago:
I can’t tell the difference between 60fps and 165fps unless side by side. Just throwing that out there. As long as the frame rate is stable and not hitching I can’t tell. I just don’t see a difference.
- Comment on Helldivers 2's post-death and destruction Super Earth rebuild begins, financed by more death and destruction 1 month ago:
Plas-39 accelarator rifle, gp-31 ultamatum as secondary and stalwart as support.
Accelarator to take out the annoying heavy armoured guys, ultamatum to blow up ships in 1 hit and stalwart to take out the hordes.
Only issue I have is the strafing runs and my friend sitting still to shoot at hordes instead of completing the objectives. They keep coming if you sit still. All 3 enemies keep coming if you sit still. Move!

- Comment on Resident Evil fans: Can I skip RE5 to play Revelations 2? 2 months ago:
The AI always stole my bullets and wasted them in RE5. It’s the only Resident Evil I haven’t finished. It made me so unbelievably mad.

You can play online games and use discord on that.
Lived in a place that advertised 100Mbps speeds. Bullshit. It had 25Mbps on a good day. Lets not talk about the bad days.

Just gotta add some strong string.
- Comment on Anon misses the classic design 2 months ago:
Long wooden handles don’t go boom. Wasted space.
The grenade pouch has to be much longer to house them or the grenades are hung on a belt that can cause movement issues.
Throwing a ball is about as easy as throwing a stick. So no point for the stick shape.
- Comment on Former PlayStation exec says "$70 or $80" games are a "steal": "As long as people choose carefully how they spend their money, I don't think they should be complaining" 2 months ago:
Not wrong. You and other AAA studios are not making games worth that price tag though.

- Comment on USB 2.0 is 25 years old today — the interface standard that changed the world 3 months ago:
I’ve never ripped the head off of a DVI or VGA cable. Unlike HDMI and DP, then they put little grippy clips in em now so you got to get the needle nose pliers out and rip them out the port too.

Eh being 14 and an adult woman shouting out of a cat at me to get my cock out I feel is about as gross and threatening as it would be if the genders were reversed.

- Comment on ChatGPT is shifting rightwards politically 4 months ago:
Always does. Didn’t twitter (before musk) make a chat bot that became a racist, holocaust denying, consiracy theorist bot?
I think a lot of the early ones did. If you are scaping comments you are going to get a lot of racist shit.

- Comment on Anon builds a new PC 5 months ago:
I mean sure but. I’d be surprised if you wpuldn’t see a difference between 1 stick of 8 and 2 sticks of 8. Me going 16gb RAM to 32gb RAM was one of the most noticable upgrades I have done. Similar amount of change from going 1080p to 1440p of my monitor.
