- Comment on EU says it will continue rolling out AI legislation on schedule 3 days ago:
Tech companies from across the world, including giants like Alphabet, Meta, Mistral Al and ASML have been urging the European Commission to delay rolling out the Al Act, saying it will hurt Europe’s chances to compete in the fast-evolving Al arena.
This alone tells me enough that rolling out this legislation should be top priority.

Whatever that means.
Wow you really lost a lot of brain function already. My condolences.

Heya! Let’s put a hallucinating txt parser at your fingertips at all times to speed up the brain degeneration and make sure our corporate statistics show that the Ai is constantly in use to make our CEO daddies happy.

Absolutely and along with that comes the religious grooming they scream so loud about while forcing the 10 commandments into schools.

Learn to use your brain.
Using the tools that objectively (with multiple studies) have shown to dumb you down is not a solution.
Using Ai is not seizing the means of production and will only make you rely on them.
The way it is going to be used against people is to make humans stupid.
- Comment on NativeMind: Your fully private, open-source, on-device AI assistant 5 days ago:
Yeah it’s the guilt free version of brainrot. Still a brain rotting tool that will dumb you down. Literally multiple studies have shown this.

Using Ai isn’t seizing the means of production, it’s rotting away at your ability to think and reason. It will make you rely on them to think.

It’s a corporate tool that turns your brain into mush. Studies have repeatedly shown this.
Better to learn how to use your brain. An actually useful resource as opposed to outsourcing your thinking by plopping your brain in a fucking jar and letting a glorified txt parser do all the hard work of thinking for you.

I don’t. You are exposing children to those exact mechanics and normalizing that behaviour. Without further thought in the future they will go for increasingly scammy shit tactics.
- Comment on Old gamers don't understand what mobile gaming has become 6 days ago:
Yes cause they are designed to be addictive and maximize the profitability with addictive content like loot boxes and fomo tactics to push micro transactions.
- Comment on Old gamers don't understand what mobile gaming has become 6 days ago:
Games as a service is a scam and goes hand in hand with gambling and addictive mechanics used to keep people hooked. It’s absolutely toxic.
Nintendo is a corporate shithole but at least they make some sort of semblance of non abusive games.
“Portable gaming” is always welcome but the business model of phone games is fucking disgusting.
- Comment on NativeMind: Your fully private, open-source, on-device AI assistant 6 days ago:
Oh look guilt free brainrot….
This is still putting your brain in a jar and not thinking. Ai is going to make you fucking stupid

- Comment on In Canada, Nintendo is increasing the price of the original Nintendo Switch. 1 week ago:
You own more of the software that runs the steam deck than any Nintendo console. You also have the option to buy games from other digital platforms.
Buy games on GOG and run them on the steam deck.

Just buy a steam deck and actually own your hardware and software.

Bahahahahahah you tinted it blue. You didn’t do anything a child with MS paint couldn’t do.
I’m against automating the effort out of the creative process, I’m also against corporate greed and the privacy invasion that Ai is enabling.
There is a difference in looking at a painting and getting inspiration from it and learning how to copy the technique and taking a camera and snapping a picture and calling it your own. Ai is a legal way to steal and not feel guilty.
The people creating video games and media are paid by the company before it gets released. All that does is steal from the corporation that is milking their products and scamming customers.
Go ahead download Call of Duty but don’t kid yourself that you aren’t stealing from indie devs when you pirate their work.
