Put some sweet pea pods and chopped green onions into your ramen. Doesn’t add much time or effort but adds tons of flavor.

I say just take a fucking multivitamin. And magnesium.

Vitamins are barely regulated and don’t have to pass the standard of “generally recognized as safe and effective”. Because of that we don’t even have a ton of data on the effectiveness of multivitamins, but one of the things that we do know is most of the vitamins are just pissed out because they need cofactors to be properly absorbed. If you truly can’t get nutrients from a healthy diet then they are better than nothing but healthy diet is still the number one priority.
Doctors sometimes recommend them because “they can’t hurt” but that doesn’t mean they are actually helpful

I have doubts its the same for the body. Vitamins from a pill and vitamins from proper food…
Hedup@lemm.ee 23 hours ago
Just take them during the meal to trick the body into absorbing them.

Even proper food has fewer nutrients than it used to
someguy3@lemmy.world 21 hours ago
Like it it not, people are not getting proper food.

Vitamin D tends to bind to the iron in multivitamins, cancelling out the effects of both. I don’t know if the same goes for other combinations, but it’s probably safer to get vitamins from normal food.

Jokes on you, my body hasn’t seen Vitamin D in a decade

My grandma ate like shit afaik and died young from a series of diabetic strokes. So maybe, maybe not.

Yeah, fruits contain sugar, and it’s established that some vitamins increase the risk of cancer.

Many years ago I saw a story of a guy who got scurvy from eating nothing but ramen on 9gag
