    That pigeon should definitely be panicking more, there’s an old video out there of a pelican successfully swallowing a pigeon whole and alive.

    in my very very very slightly educated opinion, absolutely
    it looks the same as other birds feeding their chicks, and when they try to eat other things they always try to fit it into the beak because they can’t just… suck it into their gullet like a vacuum cleaner…
