Well Jimmy, when you realize religious fanatics would rather shoot homeless people then feed them, its a bit of a downer!

Sometimes thats the case and sometimes it was just prepped wrong (e.g. boiling instead of cooking in a oven) or has gotten legit better.

The technicality argument always rubbed me the wrong way. Like the guys who are into jailbait and say they aren’t pedophiles because pedophilia is for under ten year olds and they want to fuck teenagers. Brother you still want to fuck underage folks.
Same generally with piracy. Saying it’s not theft because there’s no physical deprivation of goods just sounds deluded. It’s still taking stuff without paying for it. Who are you trying to fool? Are you hoping someone is gonna read that nonsense and say, “Oh shit hes right guess we gotta get rid of copyright law now”? And would you want them to in the day and age of AI stealing everything?
I’m not even really trying to scold folks who pirate, I do it too, I just don’t bother to grandstand about it. BFD I’m pirating 30 year old video games. Y’all think if I bought a 200 dollar used one on Ebay the original studio sees a dime of it? C’mon now.

By definition it cannot.

Arguable for his time under Ares, but the freedom fighter and terrorist line gets blurry when fighting a regime and he’s fought two, Greek and Norse.

You can’t logic someone out of something they didn’t logic themselves into, and they definitely got emotionally attached to antivax before they found “statistics” to back shit up.

- Comment on You can now search for Steam games by adjustable difficulty, mouse-only options and other accessibility tags 5 weeks ago:
Adjustable difficulty is accessibility? Maybe what I’m thinking isn’t what it is. Anyone know if it means stuff like easy/medium/hard or the more granular stuff like “Turn off QTE’s”?
Either way nice to see Steam making this stuff available and easy for devs.
- Comment on How do you keep track of what games you have played over the years? 5 weeks ago:
On Steam I have categories for played, unplayed, playing, and never touching again. Works well, but that backlog is brutal.

Hades did straight numbers, not a shocker they’d go for another. Couldn’t see Transistor or Bastion getting sequels, (Or Pyre but… lol Pyre.) and more importantly, I’d rather they tell new stories.

The newer Beavis and Butthead’s were alright but not amazing. Of course it was also decades since I watched the originals, so maybe I changed too. To that end I don’t expect new KotH to blow my socks off.
- Comment on ‘King of the Hill’ Revival First Details: Hank and Peggy Are Retired, Bobby’s a Dallas Chef, Dale Was Briefly Arlen’s Mayor and More 1 month ago:
Beavis and Butthead had flash forwards in their recent series where they were adults and also ones where they were elderly.

One has to imagine a future where one of sevetal things happen. Two possibilities come to mind.
- The government somehow bans beef, chicken, turkey, etc. This, I can’t stress this enough, will not happen. The backlash would be massive and leaders would be out on their ass swiftly and the decree reversed.
- Climate change and animal flus render meat so expensive that it escapes affordability for the average man More catastrophic, but also more likely. IMO average folks go largely vegan at that point, meat becomes a special occasion thing for them.

Funnily enough, there was a multiverse thing called 2099 with a bunch of characters in it but like cyberfuture or whatever, had Spiderman 2099, Hulk 2099, and Punisher 2099, among others. Punisher 2099 kills (and tortures) criminals, absolutely refuses to fire on cops, and when Doom 2099 takes over the country, becomes his flunky and starts using thought crime devices.

Other female led action movies that came out in 2012 include- Brave, Underworld: Awakening, Resident Evil: Retribution, Silent Hill: Revelations… but I feel like I’m belaboring the point that many others have made by now.
