Lol sausage and ketchup, let’s pretend you didn’t mention Currywurst.
Spätzle might be the one exception, although the Swiss make it better.
Sausages, I don’t get your fetishization of it here. A random merguez from the local Arab place is still better than these.
And bread… Yeah, a billion sorts of it, still worse than a random French bakery’s baguette.
Germans never wonder why there’s no German restaurants abroad, go figure

These people eat the local version of it. I personally like to go to MacDonald’s in France. Better than any German dish I can find here. Yet I shudder when I recall what that crap tasted like in the USA

There are many papers that try to sound smarter by using the formal names/concepts of otherwise ubiquitous things, and those can be annoying. At least that’s my impression in compsci. E.g. no need to write a whole paragraph about the definition of an N-norm if you’re just using L1/L2

And these machines exist, it’s simply that the cost makes it hardly profitable. Any decrease in oil prices make recycling plastic that much less profitable

You seriously misunderstand what the acronyms you’re using refer to. I’d suggest some reading before commenting, next time.

Not sure anyone here will argue middle eastern societies are utopias we should strive to emulate. Let’s look at what can be improved, not what could be worse.

If German car manufacturers had spent a third of what they spend buying politicians into EV research Tesla would never even have existed.
I’m personally torn between a crashing economy and the pleasure of seeing VW/BMW fail. Those cunts slap tariffs on Chinese brands due to subsidies, let us count how much they receive themselves. Crappy company, crappy products.

This is another example of Schrödinger’s NATO, where actions perpetrated by the USA is blamed on the entire organisation, yet NATO is a symbol of Western imperialism.
Which is it? If all of NATO but the USA want one thing, and the USA overthrows your government, is it NATO’s fault or rather the USA’s? Are tankies blaming Iraq on NATO too?

I’ve always been appalled by those who calibrate their morals based on the legal framework, rather than the other way around. Hopefully wherever you live doesn’t start allowing slavery, child marriage etc. Following the law was quite during the 40s, ask Coco Channel. Who can blame her?
