Currently at a job where I haven’t slept in 4 days because I am stressed out about quitting. There are too many safety violations and I keep getting in trouble for things completely out of my control. Maybe OSHA will supplement my income for a few months

- Comment on 400,000 species 7 months ago:
I used to work with a lot of young people and some of them told me they hated the Beatles. So I would randomly play Beatles songs and occasionally ask them what they thought. Turns out they never even listened to the Beatles except for maybe a couple of pop/radio songs. It was just a fad to hate on them

- Comment on How can I clean my mouse wheel without taking apart my mouse? 9 months ago:
I use a paint brush, air compressor, cotton swabs and a tooth pick to clean mine when I’m too lazy to take it apart. Also if you have an air mattress, then you have an air compressor
- Comment on Has google stopped working for finding anything? 10 months ago:
The biggest issue I have is that half my results come back as videos. Video results should be in the video tab. I don’t want to watch a half hour long video just to find out how to make a healing brew in ark.
One paragraph would convey the information 10x faster than any video could - Comment on Assuming a button that, every time you push it, your intelligence goes up. The obvious and sane thing to do is to push the button all day. Yes? No? Maybe? Is there something that I'm missing here? 1 year ago:
Insanity is only a button push away.
- Comment on Youtube is allowing Youtubers to advertise their merch even for premium users 1 year ago:
Advertisement:
"a notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a job vacancy. "
I’m not sure if a link can be considered an announcement, but otherwise based on the definition I would say it’s a gray area and could be argued either way. Though I would tend to say it isn’t an advertisement but a link to one.
- Comment on Youtube is allowing Youtubers to advertise their merch even for premium users 1 year ago:
This all could be solved with a simple toggle for premium users to choose if they want to see these ads or not.
- Comment on Xbox consoles getting full-screen ad 1 year ago:
I agree, in my experience it’s usually some higher up making these dumb decisions. It happens to video games daily
- Comment on Xbox consoles getting full-screen ad 1 year ago:
If you are on windows 10 or early, you can disable those. Not sure about 11. It’s just a few powershell commands.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
I would be okay with removing the word “farmed” provided they sold the salmon as is. No pink dyes, just a gray carcass.
Then you wouldn’t need to distinguish between farm raised and wild caught. The difference would be obvious - Comment on Open source community figures out problems with performance in Starfield 1 year ago:
