- Comment on my back hurts so bad 1 week ago:
I recently did physical therapy and they had me do an exercise which is basically the yoga pose upward facing dog.
Except you keep your pelvis on the ground, like a slow half push up. Started out doing 20 of these a night, up to 40.
I bend over constantly at work, and lift boxes, and after a week or since I started this exercise I have had 0% back pain. It’s been months now.

Oh dang. You’d still die from old age.
- Comment on No brainer 5 weeks ago:
I’m 10 hours younger, 5 seconds later, I’m 19 hours 59 minutes and 55 seconds younger, rinse and repeat until you reach your desired age. Immortality?
- Comment on When something still uses micro USB in 2025 1 month ago:
Hmm interesting. I work with a bunch of older machines that use micro USB. They are all going on 10 years without a broken port. But my phones USB C port broke recently at about 4 years in.
- Comment on How do I beat the roaches in this house? 1 month ago:
An exterminator probably, but you can thin the herd by sitting up a trap.
A large preferably glass or metal bowl, and a small ramp up to said bowl. Put some sugar in the bowl and the next day there’ll be some roaches trapped in the bowl. Empty and repeat…
- Comment on 90% of Games Developers Already Using AI in Workflows, According to New Google Cloud Research 1 month ago:
As a full stack web dev I’ve been using AI off and on and while it seems really good at basic markup language, it almost never gets PHP or JS right.
It suggests weird ways of doing things that either don’t work, are completely asinine, use some random unknown libraries, or is just outdated.
- Comment on Begun the kernel wars have 1 month ago:
I came home pre early access and saw that I could play if I just watched some stream on twitch for 30 minutes. So I did. Got the code and it did not work. Started up the game and it was locked until early access/ next day.
Went to bed and tried again on early access. Now the game won’t even start, claiming it needs secure boot to be on. I have secure boot on. - Comment on Shit's getting real 1 month ago:
I have a job at a large corporate retail store and we recently raised a lot of prices, mostly for things that haven’t been hit by tariffs yet. The owner is using the tariffs as an excuse to jack up prices for no reason. Even if all the tariffs were done away with tomorrow, corporate America is still going to jack up the prices.
- Comment on These shipping tape things 1 month ago:
Where I work, we use the cheapest tape known to man. It’s pretty much 50/50 if they work or you spend 30 seconds fixing it. Helps if you adjust the tensioner…
- Comment on Battlefield 6 cheats day 1 of early access. Depite kernel level anti cheat, forced secure boot TPM 2.0 1 month ago:
Not sure if this works these days, but on older systems there was a reset bios config jumper and pulling the cmos battery.

Gambling addicts are 15x more likely to commit suicide, be in 15k + debt, etc. Bringing gambling addiction to a game played by young adults reminds me of when they used to market cigarettes to minors

When I took my driving test. The correct spacing was taught as, if you can see their bottom back tires visible above your hood, then that’s the correct distance.

- Comment on [deleted] 3 months ago:
Motherboards used to have a jumper pin to erase bios passwords and reset bios to default. Doubtful that a modern laptop has these, but worth a look.

Also file a police report and let the police identify the thief from video. Then they will get to deal with doordash.

Since when has using turn signals been the “normal”?
