No no, it’s not really what I mean. Hiking is great, and everything that has to do with nature.
But I enjoy sometimes watching video about surviving in nature, bushcraft and youtube algorithm started pushing stuff about Paranormal shit, conspiracy things.
It might be true about anything. it’s juste something to keep in mind. Before pushing OP’s son to get a hunting or fishing license.
But clearly disconnecting from social media can help.
If you have to advise about hobbies, boardgaming is nice, rollerblading too.

A lot of people recommend anything, outdoors, hiking, camping, dirt bikes etc.
I want to say you have to be careful with those. As you can easily spiral into right wing, conspiracy theorist territory.
Youtube is very good at pushing that kind of content.
Maybe something about food, like cooking classes, or about traveling.

Now as a parent, I got to see teachers struggle with a beamer, same joy!

I like playing shooter’s with m&k, str games too. I know for example in Apex, lot’s of pro players une a controller.
But 3rd person games feel somehow much better with a controller. I’m not sure how uncharted, or HZD would play on Mouse and Keyboard.

I really don’t see your point people have been playing minecraft in multiplayer, making stories for a very long time. There are TV shows dedicated to this on Korean TV. Kids love to watch those. There is every reason to make a movie.
And it might even bring up popularity in demographique that has never played understood the game

People bragging about not taking their PTO days are quite common in the work place. I always like to remind them that it’s a compensation and part of their contract. Then I brag that this month, I didn’t asked to be paid because I’m dedicated worker like them. It makes them look stupid.
And manager being difficult when requesting PTO are horrible. Because it’s their job to manage staffing. They should understand the concepts explained above. But they don’t, they are probably the kind of people bragging about “working a lot”
- Comment on Anon discovers a diet trick 7 months ago:
This is what I’ve been doing too. I eat less, and I’ve stopped snacking in the evening. I use to eat 3-4 piece of bread in the morning, a big playe for lunch and sometimes 2 plates at night.
I’m eating 1-2 piece of bread for breakfast. If I eat a big breakfast in the weekend, I just skip lunch.
I eat half a plate in the evening. Works pretty well. I think the more you eat, the more your stomach expects, so by reducing the amount of food, you stomach is full quicker
Now, I absolutely need to learn to eat slowly

Your comment remind me how many games just wouldn’t run on my PC or how install would break my OS. Maybe I had no idea what I was doing. But PC gaming back in the days was very tricky. It got better in recent years.
I really mostly play on PC. But PC master race people are very snobish. Console gaming is a very important part of the market for very good reason.

- Comment on We have had guns for 200 years but mass shootings only became common in the last 30. So what changed? 1 year ago:
It’s part of your army kit. As we have a mandatory military service. But, soldiers have now the option to leave it at their military Base.
Which was introduced to lower the risk of suicide. No idea the impact of this policy though.
One important point is that, swiss people aren’t strongly divided or proudly displaying their, political affiliations. I think their are fights, protest and riot. But never it would come in the mind of anyone to bring a gun to such events.
Mass shooting are very rare and even though OP says people buy guns. I dont know anyone who has one. Beside for hunting.
We also have a pretty good social security and different safety nets. So this help.
