Yeah the math doesn’t add up. Maybe they bought a bunch of toppings? Pizza places crush you for ordering individual toppings.

It’s to push you into paying for the membership. But yeah they totally rip off lazy people.
I have a GrubHub membership but only because Amazon was offering a 3 year deal last year. I think they may have bought GrubHub…
Some places also charge more on the services to make up for the cut the online service gets.

I mean that’s how I surf sometimes. But how do you find new content? I’ve found a lot of great stuff scrolling everything.
- Comment on Are dating apps a fraud since the beginning? 3 weeks ago:
They were “decent” 14 ish years ago. And they worked a fair amount. I know married friends who met on them.
That said the Internet in general has fallen off a cliff with enshitification…
I know people today that still use them and do ok.
“Free” anything is going to be complete shit.
Like anything else in life it takes work, during 8 months I was doing it I spent 10-15 hours on it. And that wasn’t “scrolling” profiles. I was constantly tweaking my profile, looking for was to improve it. Also when I did “match” someone I worked on my greetings, interesting things to say, etc.
I would even keep snippets of texts. (The one I was on had a question/answer part.
Dating is a lot of work for many people.

Correct
- Comment on Can we all agree on THIS 3 weeks ago:
Yeah the EMR and data driven quality requirements of Obamacare made it almost impossible for a single doctor practice. The costs are just too high.
Had in hospitals wanting a feeder network of patients that can be directed to “their” hospital.
And you have hospitals gobbling up every practice they could in the 2010s.

- Comment on Broccoli, cheese, and MILFs 2 months ago:
So going to try that!
My recent go to ( not broccoli though) is toss some fresh spinach in a pan with oil and hit it with lemon pepper seasoning and a little lemon juice.
Takes like 5 including prep if you don’t mind the stalks.

That’s because humans are trash. Trolls will do anything to destroy an actual conversation.
As someone leveling in anniversary wow through Barrens right now. It earned its reputation and a self fulfilling one, people shit in chat there all day just to try and one up each other.
- Comment on Anon is a nostalgic gamer 2 months ago:
Yup and if you were on a low pop server or mature one with not many leveling. Forget doing dungeons at all.
DF and RF have their issues but it wasn’t all fun before.
As a feral who needed random blues, I spent days trying to get groups for less popular dungeons, just to have the item not drop or get ninja’d

there’s a difference, one is causing fear and panic.
Same as running into a movie theater and screaming fire.

While true, your hypothesis doesn’t take into consideration how often the police fuck up.
- Comment on Since the government can theoretically access the location of everyone's phone, wouldn't it be unsafe for an undocumented immigrant to have a phone? 2 months ago:
Despite recent events with certain groups using “dangerous illegal immigrants” for political gain. Almost all illegals just want to live and not cause problems. Not only are they not dangerous they serve a much needed function in the economy.
