there are some people who think conflict is required to bring about higher levels of consciousness, though that’s probably just a hierarchy of needs things playing out more often than not.
there’s this old jewish tradition uh…i forget the word for it, but basically the most sacred act you can do is teach someone else to be self sufficient. (whether that’s financially/emotionally/whatever, before you can seriously help others you must be self sufficient, therefor you should help others become self sufficient).

the funniest ones to me are the ones that haven’t even read their books …like…bruh, if I thought a book had the answer to literally all of lifes questions i would be reading the shit out of it.
but the majority of these people claiming to be religious are apparently content to be spoonfed a verse or two every week or so? there’s something seriously wrong with that lack of personal agency.

it’s called free will, most people really don’t have it because they’re effectively stuck in the labor trap. perpetually struggling for their basic survival needs of food/water/shelter that their brain barely considers the higher needs of self actualization and all that other rich-people problem shit.

not sure why the downvotes, seriously…anyone who legitimately worries about “preserving their capital” (ie. investment) has already won the game, compared to the overwhelming majority of the world.

flat feet? that happens because of arch support. the foot arch forms from a series of muscles, muscles require use or they atrophy, they atrophy and your arch collapses.

thankfully they live on other side of country, so we really should never run into each other again unless the fates deem it so.
it was kind of a “girl from highschool i had always wanted to ask out, but never had the confidence to”-scenario. childhood trauma from my time at that school made me remember it, and eventually her, so I looked her up…see how she was doing, noticed she was still single, figured I’d take my shot. let my emotions get the best of me and it i guess (really got to be cognizant of these acid flashbacks)…

damn, I…found myself doing this to someone recently, i thought i was being honest but just thinking back on it i wasnt, not entirely. they probably thought I was a crazy person obsessed with them, so they cut contact with me entirely like any sane woman would do.
the idea this person could now be going around in life looking over their shoulder, worried i’m stalking them is tearing at me
i want to apologize to this woman so she can be at ease but the only ways i can think of do so would only confirm i’m crazy/stalking them…
