- Comment on Day 533 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 5 days ago:
capitalists came in and do what they do best, fired everyone to cut costs
- Comment on Why do Interstate highways exits post the nearby jail/prison/detention center? 5 days ago:
yup, lot of these prisons are placed in the middle of fucking nowhere as a form of economic kickback essentially.
local economy is non-existent so throw down a prison and bam, you got a bunch of cheap stupid employees and free slave labor for the local barons that run the county.
- Comment on How is Donald Trump able to get away with being part of a child trafficking ring but I get 20 years in jail for littering? 6 days ago:
same reason clinton was…rules do not apply to rich people in america
- Comment on Where does the revenue gathered from taxes go and what is national debt? 1 week ago:
that’s the fun part of centering your country as lodestone of international finance/trade, entire western world is basically held hostage by USD (also, their rich people love the US’s unregulated markets and under-educated population as easy exit liquidity)
- Comment on EU lawmakers to study ban 'loot boxes' and other addictive features in video games 1 week ago:
the average age of elected leaders across the world is in the 45-50 range for most of the western world, US is the oldest at 60-70 range

- Comment on Anon tries to understand credit scores 1 week ago:
nah, no lender gives a fuck about your financial situation, certainly not in america. bankstreet turned boom and bust investing into an science, nothing has changed there.
- Comment on Anon tries to understand credit scores 1 week ago:
tldr, debt is a trap. only when you accept it’s a trap does it become a tool
you want more $…learn the value of your labor.

damn, this kinda sounds like me… always avoided relationships entirely because never saw a happy/successful one growing up. always been kind of paranoid…shit finally going my way/confident in the future and it just feels…wrong

that’s how any “AI” being used in proper development environment is too
- Comment on Is there a real, actually working way to earn money online without having a job? 2 weeks ago:
lol, no. 90% is just confidence in knowing what your trading. the remaining 10% is staying humble and continuing to learn, when you think you’ve figured it all out…that’s when people start blowing hp their accounts (don’t short anything at a price you don’t want to own, at a price you don’t mind selling/buying at…)
there are key rule differences between US and the rest of the world’s financial markets, all designed to “make things exciting” to “facilitate liquidity”…it’s all one big casino for the nation of gamblers.
the gist cam be learned from reading Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, a book written over 100 years ago. Wallstreet never changes, it just occasionally rebrands.
- Comment on Is there a real, actually working way to earn money online without having a job? 2 weeks ago:
never settle for 5-10% in a bull market, if your not pulling in atleast 100% when republicans are in power you need to read up on how the markets actually work
- Comment on Is there a real, actually working way to earn money online without having a job? 2 weeks ago:
just learn how the stock market works, and none of this gig shit will ever feel like it’s worth the time.
read reminiscences of a stock operator, the stock market is where all these other greed ratfucks put the $ they’re yoinking from uncle sam…you can make a shitton of $ off their moves if you have modicum of common sense and self-control

we did have some media-ownership limits couple decades back…
Bush and Clinton got rid of those
hence why people say both parties are the same…neolibs and republicans have the same end-goal

you know that old joke about how every american is a temporarily embarrassed millionaire?
or carlin’s old joke about how US politicians don’t just come out of the ether, they’re born and raised in shitty little greedy communities just like themselves
america is finally getting what it deserves, there’s some fantastic irony in it being entirely self-delivered. (insofar as if the US-elite werent so short-sighted and greedy, they would have easily been able to stop Murdoch and other propagandists (some russian, some chinese) from tearing the country apart. but they didn’t because the american elite largely dom’t care about the US, they’re just pissed that somebody else has outdone then in squeezing their own.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
the crazy part is that Murdoch and Co.'s grip on america is so strong that he has half the country dancing to his tune, through a combination of stupidity and greed (fox/WSJ/majority of “independent” radio stations etc.)

have you tried using a spray-water bottle to punish bad behavior, it works on dogs and cats maybe it’ll work on something less intelligent?

many doctors are just really good at regurgitating information, they’re not particularly inspired in their field of study or stay up-to-date on all the latest information. they just got into the work because it appeared to be a stable well-paying job, simple as
