From what I remember people knew about the AI thing for a long time, but forgave it cause it was replaced immediately after release. I think what makes people upset at Lairion now is that they’re trying to dance around the AI problem instead of discussing it directly. They come up with tons of excuses whenever asked instead of just strongly sticking to their choice. It’s like whenever any big company gets called out for doing something stupid. They just do bad PR nonsense instead of saying what they actually mean.

Last time I remember cheating in a game was giving myself infinite lives in Sonic Mania. The game is really fun, but I’m terrible at it and I hated having to restart from the beginning of act 1 when I was struggling with the boss. Got really bad with the final boss.

I only use self-checkout when it’s an option no matter the business. I worked in a grocery store as a cashier for 11 years and all it did was make me hate people so I’m not gonna be part of the problem for somebody else.

Pokemon Legends Arceus. I bought into the hype after it released cause my friends were playing it non-stop and assured me that anything I thought I wouldn’t like about it wasn’t actually in the game or wasn’t as bad as I thought. I got it and could only play till the Lilligant battle before dropping it. I still adore most mainline Pokemon games (although Scarlet and Violet might be my jumping off point cause I didn’t like the story or open world), but this was way too much of a departure from what I liked about Pokemon for me.

Honestly as someone who has played a lot of Ubisoft open world games and really didn’t like BotW (haven’t played TotK cause why would I) it did feel pretty similar to those games with the only difference being the map didn’t tell you where the collectibles/challenges were at. You still have the big radio tower things you climb to get info on the surrounding area and the korok seeds/shrines would feel no different from Ubisoft slop if the map showed where they were. That’s the only difference I felt between the two.

When the DNC stops supporting Israel completely, starts taking up actual progressive leftist stances like defunding the police, and stops doing the BS bipartisanship crap then sure. Until then I’ll vote third party for groups like PSL who I do volunteer work with. The closest political party that aligns with my ideal version of leadership.

No? It’s hypocritical for Dems to demand voters give them money while telling people they want money out of politics. Personally I’d make it so politicians are paid the minimum wage of the state they represent and aren’t allowed to take bribes, donations, gifts from corporations or CEOs, and election funds are a pooled resource where everyone running for any party, big or small, has access to the same amount. Anyone found getting extra funds is immediately kicked out and banned from holding any level of government office, including even being a town mayor.
