Ugly is no barrier to success. And it’s written too well to be from someone with an IQ so low that it holds them back.

Sounds like adhd to me. You ever busted your ass working hard at a job and when finished, your boss it’s just disappointed in the whole thing? Imagine that’s your entire life. You start to avoid doing anything.
I found that “you’re not stupid, you’re just lazy” applies to most people who claim to be stupid.
Having met genuinely stupid people I wish they had this level of self-awareness and would stay out of the way. Generally speaking though they insert themselves into every possible situation.

I mean it does make some things more difficult, but its more of a speed bump than a barrier. And a lot of the time decently attractive people will convince themselves they’re ugly cause it helps justify their inaction.
Painful to watch young people fall victim to these ideas that so harm their self-esteem.
Ugly and low IQ Severe Depression
I hope anon gets some help. It’s hard to find your way out of that bleakness once you’re there. I speak from experience, and it IS possible to get better. Self worth takes a lifetime to build if your parents didn’t make the fundament for it in you. It’s still worth working on it.
It’s okay to not be the perfect adult, when you have barely learned what adulthood is. It’s okay to be a late bloomer. It’s okay to be uncertain. It’s okay to do life at your own pace. But don’t let the bleakness win. No matter how shite it gets, it won’t last forever and you will find the way back from that pit. Even if it happens at such a slow and sluggish pace, that you don’t even notice the improvements from day to day.

I feel like there's only so much blame you can put onto a single person for their situation before you wonder what the hell is going on with their parents/guardians?
Because someone in their mid-20s having no basic life skills cannot be blamed purely on Anon. Either their parents are neglecting them, or coddling them to the point of sabotage.
Having said all that, if Anon is articulate enough to write all of this - then they've got a high enough IQ to at the very least try to do something about their situation, even if its just doing volunteer work for a while to build up some basic skills.

I don’t get why it is parents responsibility if they are 24 and dont have any disabilities. Isn’t it only parents jobs to take care of you till you are 18.
Being a parent is a life long job that you chose when you had a kid, so that latter take is wild.
But in any case, even if I agreed with you, do you not believe parents have a responsibility to teach their children basic life skills?
You brought a kid into the world, you should at the very least teach it how to look after itself.
