There are 8 bits in a byte.
10 megabytes (MB) is 80 megabits (Mb).
Makes sense.

And I still won’t buy your garbage data collection headset. I saw the day coming well in advance when they eventually forced the login with a meta/Facebook account. I’m not interested in that, and even though they removed it their hand was played. I will not invest in that.
- Comment on PC gamers spend 92% of their time on older games, oh and there are apparently 908 million of us now 1 week ago:
For me, definitely older and indie (old and new). I don’t get a lot of time these days to sit at my PC. Using my steam deck primarily these days is part of the reason I’m playing older games, but seriously I have a problem with steam/gog/name a storefront/ backlogs. I have so many games already, great time to review what I bought because of hype but never played.

It’s already on there

Never played it, but this type of game is up my alley. For what it’s worth:

Opposites, you and I are.
Also I’m sure you can do that with AI or view the transcript somehow already.

- Comment on Spotify Premium "Ad Free" plan 1 month ago:
I already self host and have some of those services, and do always on vpn. I just haven’t found a reliable method to rip my Spotify playlists since the API went down. I used to just cron job it, so my plex was in sync and use plexamp on my phone.

I don’t know what all of these are but surely it can’t be at search some song and tap and listen?
- Comment on The price breakdown of my flight is kinda funny, 80% taxes and fees 1 month ago:
Ah, the playing of numbers. They could really spin this any way they want. The best way is to say the fee is the fee, and if it’s too much then don’t pay it. The purpose is to attempt to point the finger at all the other bullshit.
- Comment on Many workers would take a pay cut to work from home — some would forgo at least 20% of their salary 1 month ago:
These are total bullshit Corp articles. Another way to stifle pay. If your skillet is good for the job you should get paid that. The only benefit to working in the office is to get needlessly bagged at by walkby’s. What’s the point of walking to your home office, getting on a computer working, vs wasting unnecessary time in traffic creating pollution and walking to the office to get on a computer and work? It’s stupid.

I can’t remember, but snow was one of them.
- Comment on Steam now warns about Early Access that have not been updated in months. 1 month ago:
Jokes on them, I got burned on a couple early access games in like 2012 or something so I quit buying early access. Wait for a release.

- Comment on Why do some laws exist if everyone is expected to just break them? 1 month ago:
Take jaywalking for example. Most people aren’t going to be bothered by some woman crossing the street when no cars are around.
Is it worth a cops time who’s within eyeshot to do anything about it? Waste of resources, she’s not endangering anyone.
Same situation but cars are all over, some swerving to avoid or slam on their breaks because she blindly runs out. She gets hit or cars pile into each other.
Cops in eyeshot. Well the drivers certainly are not the ultimate cause of this accident.
That’s my guess anyways.

So if I’m reading these right, these are the same as downloading from an abandoned website but they’ve added drm? Uhhh I’ll pass.

- Comment on Sony is now FromSoftware owner Kadokawa's largest shareholder 3 months ago:
Oh no :(. I hope this doesn’t mean some BS with new games and having them be PS6,7,8 exclusive until they come to PC.
No, sony, having titles exclusive to your Sony branded PC won’t make me buy a Sony branded PC when I’ve already got a PC.

- Comment on I bought an HP Laptop with 8gb of Ram...and was suppose to be 256gb SSD. I downloaded one game and its all the way down to 80. Is there any free software to download to help? 3 months ago:
256 is absolutely fine unless you work with video editing or games. If you’re just growing the net it’ll last you forever.
