Infuriates me as well. I don’t think they realize how it looks and sounds in 2026.
- Comment on Elder Scrolls 6 Is Powered By New Version Of Creation Engine 1 week ago:
It’s true. But again, it depends
- Comment on Elder Scrolls 6 Is Powered By New Version Of Creation Engine 1 week ago:
Not always true. And sometimes there’s caveats.
- Comment on Elder Scrolls 6 Is Powered By New Version Of Creation Engine 1 week ago:
Ok and does it run optimized on old hardware and Linux? I’ll easily skip it if it doesn’t. 😜
- Comment on Remember when car controls weren't complicated 1 week ago:
When I paid 11k CAD years and years ago for a diesel pickup that is just as capable as a 2026 model in terms of climbing hills, it’s hard to justify the 120k+ price tag.
- Comment on Remember when car controls weren't complicated 1 week ago:
Yes, still driving a vehicle from that era.

There are dozens of us! 😔
Probably not enough of us willing to not buy in to this new game streaming bs to make an impact.

What’s wrong with the same feature?
- Comment on Modern problems require modern solutions 1 week ago:
That’s a really good idea.
This also doubles as poisoning their training data too

“human”
“I understand but I can help you”
“No you cannot”
"Please allow me to try!
“No”
“I understand, but…”
Holy fuck I hate this AI generation.
- Comment on When you don't have a kid but still want to be part of the fun 2 weeks ago:
I can’t stand these stupid signs normally. Do you think it’s actually going to change anyone’s driving? Or are you just so excited about your baby that you want the world to know you have a baby?
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I definitely silently judge anyone who has these on their cars.
- Comment on Multiplayer car games? 2 weeks ago:
Nothing to add but wow do I remember playing the shit out of flatout 2.
- Comment on what a drag 2 weeks ago:
This won’t play for me in app, in Firefox, or in Firefox focus. 🤷♂️
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
Man what a rip. 50$ for the game + expansion. Or $30 for the expansion. Lol.
Already own d2r on switch and battle.net. Might as well just rebuy the whole thing on steam this time to make it easier to play on Linux/deck.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
I guess I have this on battle.net originally. Is there an upgrade or so I need to buy the whole damn thing over again?
- Comment on The Boot 3 weeks ago:
What does the incorrectly colored flag mean? I am seeing this more and more. No idea what it means.

Not even CATchyOS?
- Comment on Games you really want to play, but can't or won't? 3 weeks ago:
And that’s what you get for buying a console.
Honestly I might pirate it instead and avoid the whole account thing all together lol.
- Comment on Games you really want to play, but can't or won't? 4 weeks ago:
Ya maybe one day. I also morally don’t want to support that behaviour.
Elden ring is the gold standard for me in multiplayer. It’s optional. It just requires you to be online. No account creation bullshit. And it’s a quality game also.
- Comment on Games you really want to play, but can't or won't? 4 weeks ago:
Rdr2. I’m not making a damn account just to play the game offline.

- Comment on 65% of workers are interested in ‘microshifting’ their schedules as an alternative to the strict 9-to-5: It’s ‘a way to reclaim control’ 1 month ago:
Not everyone is the same and I think that’s the point. Everyone has different personal lives. Some people have ill family members that need extra care, some people have kids, etc.
Totally fair it doesn’t work for you. There’s a lot of talk about neurodivergency these days too and likely part of it. Different people’s brains also work differently, of course.
I’m all for flexibility. It’s truly a simple problem - you’re expected to complete a certain amount of something during a day, you have deadlines. Does it matter how or when it gets done as long as it’s done on time?
It’s all just managing expectations.
- Comment on The consequences of not building enough housing 1 month ago:
I’m not really buying the no housing thing now. The thing is, it turned into a commodity. If you just build more, then those with all the money (because that gap is pretty damn vast nowadays) will just buy and hold and rent them
Wait till air comes next, or some stupid ass shit.
- Comment on It's easy 1 month ago:
Weird. How did you get that shortcut? Bizarre.

- Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 sales stumble over Christmas 1 month ago:
Wow crazy. My deck works pretty hard emulating switch 1, but keeps up fine. I imagine emulating switch 2 would not perform well.
