- Comment on Anon watches redditors talk about bodycount 2 weeks ago:
i genuinely do not “intuitively understand” this idea. there’s nothing contradictory about being a hoe and a housewife
can you like, explain this? i really don’t understand how having multiple sexual relationships, specifically, diminishes one’s ability to have emotionally fulfilling relationships. if anything, i might be inclined to think they would have more emotionally fulfilling relationships 💀
- Comment on Anon watches redditors talk about bodycount 2 weeks ago:
i think the way you’re describing the process as “screwing around, forming and cutting off attachments” really shows that you think of it in a very black and white sort of way. one can have casual / fwb sex with their friends, and still have a friend relationship with that person. one can even have one-off sex with an acquaintance or stranger, and even if you never meet again, it doesn’t really make it a “cut off” relationship; if you met again, it would be pleasant, circumstances just may not arrange it
just because it’s a more emotionally involved process for you or some people you’ve encountered, doesn’t make it a universal truth

OK, my mistake
but i don’t think he was like, damn, i’m getting amazing head rn, perfect time to blast some piss into my girl’s throat
and an involuntary emission of piss due to sexual stimulation… well, to me, it sounds like there’s a lot of overlap between squirting and what was described!
- Comment on Surely has a master's degree 3 weeks ago:
calling squirting “comprised of some pee” is a little disingenuous, when the bladder can hold 200-400ml of liquid and the female prostate (aka skene’s gland) can hold, generously, 2-4ml (you can read about it in depth in this recent study, which is quite a good read! researchgate.net/…/359790472_Female_ejaculation_a…) even if you’re not precise about how many mls of fluid are expelled during a typical squirt, one would be hard pressed to conclusively state that less than the majority of fluid in a squirt didn’t originate from the bladder. the paper talks about the question of whether or not it’s precisely urine, but the tl;dr is basically that it’s not not urine (more dilute and/or slightly different compositions of urea, creatinine, and uric acid)
speaking from personal experience, at least… as much as i wish it weren’t the case, it’s piss :')
but THAT’S FINE. we don’t need to be in the business of shaming folks for unintentional (or intentional!) emissions of piss during sex! and drawing the line at “squirting (in people with vulvas) is fine because it’s not all piss” is kind of silly because it’s not necessarily going to just be piss from someone with a penis either, and there are for sure women/people with vulvas out there for whom it is just piss, and they’re catching strays here. this is not the pro-feminist stance you think it is
as long as it’s as consensual as you can make it (e.g. if you know for sure it’ll happen ahead of time, inform your partner(s); if you didn’t expect it or think it would happen, that’s the price of admission! things happen), we have no business judging someone for how their body behaves during sex
(directing this to you, but also the other comment on this post, but there’s a lot of information about squirting i wanted to write out, as well. it’s been a subject of my fascination for a few years, and some of the newer research is really interesting to read)
- Comment on Surely has a master's degree 3 weeks ago:
really not a fan of the shaming happening in the other comments for this! sometimes you have fluids come out that you didn’t mean to, it’s not something ANY gender should be shamed for!
also the amount of people commenting on what seems like it was a one-off occasion / situation is crazy
- Comment on Ew why are you like that 3 weeks ago:
damn like… i get it and the meme’s not wrong, but i think a lot of it is so cool. how the circulatory system went (evolutionarily) from being “just squirt blood on all the organs” to the elegant, efficient tube-based system we have. like, it’s kind of insane we have tubes routing blood to our entire body, everything in it, and coming back to a central point
or how there are so many parts of our body that just have a natural microbiome that we coexist with. like we have our own little slice of like… world, inside us
(poop is kinda gross tho, i can’t lie)
- Comment on of course it's by choice why would you even ask 3 weeks ago:
Unless there’s an expert who can tell me that no, if they’re diagnosed that way they have to be that way, in which case I’d question them as an expert. The brain is complex.
do you not think it’s rude to tell someone who identifies a certain way, that they might change their mind? do you not think it’s rude to act like an expert on their experiences, more than they are? do you not think it’s rude to act like their opinion on themselves only has merit if science backs it up, but act like your opinion is somehow above that standard?
when someone identifies as a different sexuality, as a different gender, it’s polite to give them the basic respect of acknowledging it. any of these things may change, and it’s OK if it does, but it’s very rude to point that out, as if they’ve never had that thought. it’s also invalidating - consider telling a trans person they might reconsider their gender. identification along the aro or ace spectrums deserves the same respect
respectfully, i would ask that you stop commenting on this situation, and reconsider whether your advice is actually contributing positively to the conversation
- Comment on of course it's by choice why would you even ask 3 weeks ago:
not sure that you were intending this, (maybe you replied to the wrong comment?) but your comment can be read in a bit of a “you’ll get over this aro/ace thing when you meet the right person”

it’s snark, but it’s genuine, too. some people really haven’t heard it. but sure, i could have said it better, that’s fair
the issue is that there are women who have these traits independent of if they happen to belong this “costume”. it’s a look, but it falls within normal human variance. in essence, you’ve said any women who even vaguely has traits like this is a ghoul. besides, people should be allowed to choose how they look
it’s also using the bludgeoning of the oppressor on people you happen to have moral standing over. this meme is still ultimately about their fuckability. sure, you may find them (physically) unfuckable because you believe their appearance is a reflection of their morals. but it’s still not OK to reduce women to their fuckability. it’s the same shit people do when they misgender shitty trans people. it reduces baseline respect to privilege that can be revoked. that’s not baseline respect then lol
(aside, i don’t think the “happen to have marriages of convenience” necessarily follows from the outfit. it might, i guess, i haven’t really looked into the marriage success rates of this group of people. but it’s not like average success rates of marriage are anything to write home about, either)
finally, i would hope that the people in this thread who are being SUPER misogynist about it are like… putting you off. i feel like it’s not great if people are supporting misogyny in your not-misogynistic meme!
this could have been captioned “pedophile wives cabal” or something and i think that would have been fine. re: the above “using the bludgeoning of the oppressor”, it’s always worth questioning yourself about whether you’re dunking on them because they’re shitty people or because they’re women who happen to be shitty people
- Comment on Why conservative men repeatedly crash Grindr 2 months ago:
this post is why people say there’s a misogyny problem here
- Comment on Why conservative men repeatedly crash Grindr 2 months ago:
yea if it’s implying that men are only worth being with because of their looks, it’s sexist, yea. it’s not as sexist because there’s not a societally ingrained idea that a man’s core worth is in his looks. so it’s not like it’s equivalent. but it’s almost like there are different prejudices to different genders
or have you not heard enough people talk about women like they’re worthless because of a perceived lack of attractiveness

i feel like this comment is actually rooted in concern that talking about suicidal ideation increases it, and, while i don’t have studies to support it, talking about it certainly doesn’t increase the actual rate of suicide, and i believe openly talking about it lowers the barrier to people being able to get help when the thoughts actually become dangerous
certainly, at least i’ve heard from plenty of people who deal with these sort of thoughts, that not being able to express them can isolate and distance them further from their friends and community (a notably more dangerous situation). so, while the increase in dialogue about suicidal ideation makes me sad, i’m at least happy that it’s increasingly normal for people not to suffer in silence
but as an aside, gatekeeping suicidal ideation is crazy lmfao

- Comment on Leftists should stop trying to change the world, and use those new skills, knowledge and strengths (after trying to wake Liberals up) to survive the accelerating US collapse. Be selfish. Make moves. 5 months ago:
people don’t just “wake up”. a movement is built, one conversation, one comrade at a time; it doesn’t just magically happen in the minds of the people. i don’t think you’re necessarily badly intentioned, but you aren’t even giving any compelling stories from your “firsthand experience over the past two decades”. your post amounts to “society is FUBAR’d because trust me bro,” and frankly, none of us have any reason to trust you, brand new account will no posts
you also don’t really talk like someone who has twenty years of organizing experience. there are methodologies to this, one can be trained in these ways if one really wants to be
also, how exactly do you expect to survive the MAGApocalypse without community? who do you expect to turn to in times of crisis if not the people around you? or are you just going to isolate yourself from society and go off the grid? do you think people make it through these sorts of crises alone?
if you are tired of society being built on a foundation of fear, you can begin your journey to building collective power and hope with this page and this site, it’s an excellent resource: labornotes.org/…/22AnOrganizingConversation_0.pdf
