  All names are washed away in the grandness of time. The sin is not to burn out but to waste your light in darkness alone. The virtue is in knowing personal cost of the clarity that your light grants to others.

    What if one’s own pursuits is to lift others? To light the eay for others so that they do not make the same mistakes stumbling in the darkness. Would their pursuits not then be fulfilled?
