My ex actually sent my therapist MULTIPLE emails to try to share her side of the story, and also to try to get him to share confidential information about me. Apparently in all his years of therapizing, he’d never seen anything quite that crazy.

I think a video of him blowing Bubba would be worse in the eyes of his base.

I think even if you have a metal 3d printer, it would still not be suitable for anything where strength of the piece is critical. Iirc, metal 3d printing basically just joins metal filings together using some kind of medium, making is no much weaker than a forged or machined piece.

My kids told me about how they love something called phonk or something. I got excited, because I thought they said “funk”. I was very upset when they put on their phonk “music”. I was expecting something akin to Sam and Dave or earth wind and fire, but what I got was a cacophony of dying animals and a back beat so horribly off tempo that I couldn’t be sure that it was actually part of a song

deep ocean would be better for this, you can shed heat easier and also, we can turn it into a reef when the world finally realizes that AI is stupid and a waste of resources.

Did you know that the correct pluralization is octopuses or octopoda, not octopi? This is because the -pus ending in octopus to es from the Greek word for foot, not prom latin.

you’re supposed to wash cast iron with water, then soap then water again. then you dry, put it on a hot stove, and once all the water evaporates away, you rub it down with some oil on a cloth/paper towel, and get that real hot. then you can turn off the heat, and wipe off excess oil before putting it away. It’s not as straightforward as just tossing it into the dishwasher, but it’s not as complicated as some would have you believe. also, you can wash cast iron. soap doesn’t hurt it.

- Comment on If you lose your memories, are "you" dead? If a close relative/friend lose their memories, are they still "your relative/friend"? What the hell even is memory? How sentimental are you about memories? 4 months ago:
Depression struggled with me for several years, I lost my ability to recall events which happened in my life. I had knowledge of my life’s events, but I wasn’t able to actually recall any of them. My son’s birth, my parents’ faces, etc. I felt dead inside and considered myself already dead, even if my mortal coil still churned on like some kind of pale imitation of life.
Anyway, one day, a traumatic event from my past resurfaced itself, and I was forced to confront it. After that, I slowly began regaining my memories which had been locked away. I made the choice to leave an abusive relationship, I reconnected with my loved ones from my earlier life. I still sometimes hear the whisper in my ear to end it all, but it’s not as persistent, not as loud. I can touch the memory of the trauma without feeling like a pit just opened within me.
I guess what I’m saying is, I was dead when I lost my memories, and when I got them back, I am alive again.
