Apparently “it’s too good” so the US government slapped export restrictions on it, saying it wasn’t allowed to be used by any foreign national, within or without the US.

Yeah… And given the person whom he wanted to be “option B” is my wife’s best friend…

Yeah, 100%. A few of us tried to talk him out of it. 3 of us had independent 1:1 conversations with him saying it wasn’t cool. And if he’s not happy in his relationship now, it won’t magically get better (he knew that to be true) and he should break it off. However he refused, unless he had a sure thing for a relationship immediately after.
He wanted to use one of our (my SO and me) best friends as “option B” and also had graphic and very explicit fantasies about this individual. He told one of the others that was trying to have a “come to your senses” talk with him about these fantasies, unsolicited. To the point he was apparently graphically imagining fucking them after we had just hung out, while he was home laying in bed next to his Fiancee.
He also said that de wasn’t worried about the wedding coming up. The quote “whether I break it off now or a day before the wedding, its the same emotional and financial toll, so I shouldn’t rush it”. And he wouldn’t be willing to get a divorce once they had kids. He didn’t want kids, but she did, and he caved.

My friend group recently excised someone because he was hard core planning on cheating on his soon to be wife… They weren’t married yet, he wanted to end the relationship bud didn’t wanna be single. So he was just planning on cheating and how exactly to do it.
We decided to cut him out of the group, because most of us have the opinion “if you’re willing to fuck over your supposed partner, you’re definitely willing to fuck over a friend”. Add on top of that a ton of unremorseful misogyny.

You might be right. I am also not a lawyer, and I’m also in the US. I assumed that they would arrest since Walmart is technically provate property, L&P might have had her legally removed for trespassing? I don’t know, who knows. It might also just be that the police were just listening to the orders of their corporate overlords 🤷

I’m guessing that the L&P staff are acting as legal proxies, and therefore can press charges

What do you mean “tab completion is AI based”? We have had tab completion for years before LLMs were a thing.

If you have access to the router, you could probably adjust their device to have random packet loss. Which would effectively slow them down, might piss them off.
As for the deauth attack, it definitely isn’t “easy”. But here’s a tool to do it. github.com/aircrack-ng/mdk4. However I doubt this’ll be interesting to you.
Also, microwave (2.4GHz interference) won’t affect Wifi 5/6, given they’re in the 5+GHz range

Ironically my dad sneezes pretty quietly, like a mouse. Yet I have the sonic boom of a sneeze. One time in uni I sneezed during a class, the professor stopped his lecture and said “are you ok?!?!”

Reminds me of a final exam in university (engineering course) where the Prof said we could use one double sided sheet. I wrote it in red and blue pen and brought 3D glasses. It was helpful for duplicate things with different info like some tables. I barely used it, but I thought it was clever and funny

Technology connections did a good Video on the topic, and a comparison between them and normal ovens.
Personally I use mine (which is a toaster oven / air fryer combo) because it’s faster and easier to clean. So if I’m making something that fits in it, that’s my choice

I think it’s gonna end up being bad. Mainly because most people are gonna hear on Fox News that this was due to some flaw in Signal, and just take that at face value. A lot of people are not gonna even read an article about why or what even happened.
