This would only be true, if that piece of shit had stolen the seagull it’s chip or if the seagulls had smashed more than two million people to death.

Yeah, it was fun for a while. The good thing is, so many people stopped smoking in the last few years, that smoking stopped to be this special social thing.

Oh man, I (also 2 m) can relate. For me it’s always one of the emergency exit seats, that fit not too bad. But that always costs extra.

Yeah, crouching like a gremlin under the hand luggage chutes? Fuck that.

Oh, you have done good to question this. It is a pseudoscience. I quickly slapped together an uncomplete list how to spot bullshit. Just from your description, I would say at least three boxes are checked here.
-
Overgeneralization: A single phenomenon is claimed to explain a wide range of unrelated issues.
-
One-size-fits-all solutions: A single treatment or method is said to cure multiple, diverse ailments.
-
Lack of specificity: Claims are vague and lack detailed mechanisms or explanations.
-
Appeal to tradition: Claims are based on historical practices rather than scientific evidence.
-
Extraordinary claims without extraordinary evidence: Bold assertions are made without sufficient proof.
-
Emphasis on personal testimonials: Reliance on individual stories rather than systematic research.
-
Use of jargon: Complex terminology is used to sound credible without substantive backing.
-
Avoidance of peer scrutiny: Claims are not subjected to rigorous testing or peer review.
-
Dichotomous thinking: Issues are framed in black-and-white terms, ignoring nuances and complexities.

Is it still good / good again? I was very hyped in the beginning, but my interest faded away in season 4, I think.
- Comment on DIN sagt geht klar 5 weeks ago:
So he called Istael a literal Nazi state? I don’t think so. Bugger off.
- Comment on DIN sagt geht klar 5 weeks ago:
Yeah, that state.
So when we are at it, are we talking about that Nazis, that established a fashist regime that aimed to controll at least the whole of Europe and set the world on fire for that goal, that wanted to enslave all the people, which it saw as lesser than themselves and that tried really hard to murder every single european Jew and every other person they hated by using industrial means?
I don’t know, the new German gobernment, I really hate them. I see quite some racism and I see retrograde politics but no Nazism.
Also in Israel I see a right-wing regime that tries to murder or expel the Palestinians. But I don’t see Nazism. The only people who call Israel a Nazi state are either not really thinking about what they say, or are just plain antisemitic motherfuckers.
- Comment on DIN sagt geht klar 5 weeks ago:
Sure. You are batshit insane.
- Comment on DIN sagt geht klar 5 weeks ago:
„Look, todays Germany is a Nazi state for supporting the only jewish state in the world“ or something. Honestly, something is very wrong with you, man.

Nah, comforting people is a form of social interaction. We are social animals and that helps us to survive bad situations. No magic in that.

- Comment on Is there any hope for Ukraine to survive as an independent state now that trump is desperately wishing for a peace treaty with Russia, even bypassing Ukraine? 3 months ago:
Nah, depends on your position. Our departing government wasn’t too great, because one party (neoliberal shits called the FDP) sabotaged it from day one and the biggest party, the SPD had (and still has) a very bad leadership. So because people want change and are apparently not able to make rational choices, they will most probably give many voices to the conservative (think Democrats in the US) party, which will make an absolute piece of shit (Faschofritze Merz) their Chancellor. So from a US or russian perspective, we are totally fine, but I really fear this sunday (voting day)

That is simply not true. It is a pretty annoying process and often takes time to get a therapy, nobody I know, including myself had to pay for this. And I know that because most people here are pretty open about therapy nowadays. There are more than enough problems with the German health care system, but OPs description fits my experiences muuuch more than what you describe.
