Everything in moderation, including moderation. You’ve got to choose what you’re radical about, lest it choose you.

- Comment on DLSS 5 comes with a massive 50-60% performance hit, so I hope you like lower frame rates with your dose of AI image enhancement 1 week ago:
So, while the little RTX 5060 can churn out a 258 fps result in NBA 2K27 at 1080p Ultra settings with ray tracing and DLSS 5 enabled, the game underneath will actually be running at around 43 fps.
Lol. Nvidia with the toilet paper math. “You’re only getting 6 frames but it’s actually 11 billion frames.”
Like, I’m playing Bully. Render the locked 30, barely consume any power and shut up. “Run your computer at full tilt all the time so your games can run like shit!” I cannot stand any frame gen. Makes games look like static.
- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
The Spanish is a bit easier since it literally translates to “Zone Free of…” followed by a list of things it’s a zone free from but I agree, since a “drug free zone” and a “gun free zone” mean that there is, ideally according to the sign, no drugs or guns but a “weapons free zone” would mean you’re free to shoot combatants on sight, whereas a “weapon free zone” would mean an area without weapons.

I doubt they would ever need to draft up to 42 based on the US population and the willingness of psychos to want to a) kill people or b) get paid to kill people via promises of a better life later as a veteran (Baby killer)
They need a draft once all those Action Hero wannabes get swatted down by Iranian drones and the Canadian troops start rolling in to annex the southern province.
Who knew Fallout would be right about the annexation but wrong about which way it went?

I try to reduce my coffee/caffeine consumption but if I get a coffee at a diner, you’d better believe I’m slamming five or more.

Once survival has gone on for some time (depends on the person), you’re going to start making a few ‘comfort’ decisions. Granted, I wouldn’t go raid a CVS for razors but if I found a pair of scissors I might start doing a trim.
Also, hate the feeling of greasy hair, so I’m quick to cut it off or rub dirt all over it if I can’t take care of it.

I’m also a Lynch fan. The only time I really watch his movies is when I have a bad fever. I was sweating through my couch, dying to sip water and binging Twin Peaks. It’s really the only way to watch, I have to say.
Maybe psychedelics? That might be good too.

5km/h is on the low end of the “average” walking speed but waiting at intersections and lights will murder that speed. You could easily be on the upper end of six and then have to wait 5+ minutes at an intersection, bringing you back below a 5.
- Comment on Housing prices 4 weeks ago:
Ah, yes, illegal immigrants with their high paying jobs buying up all the houses. Even assuming rent goes down when you remove tenants from an area (supply and demand, because how do you convince people to move into the path of the brown shirts) the question is about HOME prices. Rents are impacted by home prices, yes, but after the cost of permitting and materials, it’s ‘cheaper’ to build a second floor and raise the price by $200k than it is to build affordable homes - meanwhile the cost of smaller homes has exploded because venture capital buys them up for rentals.
If that study had any legs, or you any confidence in it, you would’ve linked it in the first place.
- Comment on Don't Call Me. Ever. 4 weeks ago:
I got a buddy who texts me “Give me a call when you get a chance”
Always allows me to finish up my work and call them when the time suits me.
Meanwhile, coworkers just call me a minute before I’m supposed to go into a meeting and expect to have my attention for a half hour. It’s on the calendar you dipshit.
- Comment on Is there a reason why toilets are made out of one of the most resonating materials possible while also being made in a shape that makes a small fart sound like a damn trombone? 4 weeks ago:
Gatorade bottle? The mouth on that is huge and the plastic too thick - use a cheap water bottle and spike a hole in the cap with a screw driver. Gotta get that precision steam to blast away the sand fleas trying to crawl around.

Found a PS5 slim at a cashies for $350USD with an exploitable firmware, so it looks like I’ll be able to play GTA VI without giving either a dime!
I mean, probably more sane to just wait for the PC release but there’s also the fun of jailbreaking the consoles.

Rarest is some challenge from the Hunter game that I guess no one else played.
Third rarest is the “Harder” challenge from SuperHot VR.

Like, part of me is curious what your rate is now but I’m not actually planning a commission so is that, like, rude to ask?
I was trying to find a translation for a PSP game and couldn’t find any online but I had no idea how much one might cost to commission but I guess a single game would be cheaper than a whole series…

- Comment on Should I buy a Switch 2 despite owning an OLED? 1 month ago:
I planned to not buy one - I was against it on launch for all the reasons and, yet, I was gifted one.
I have bought a few games but I mostly use it for playing my Switch 1 games. IF you play games with long loading times, it’s a reasonable upgrade. Age of Imprisonment is just more Musou so if that’s your thing, it might be worth it, but honestly if you’re not into ALL of the current releases, I would wait or buy it secondhand.

I mean, drone strike, IED, falling from an airplane, hellfire missiles… Humans kind of blow up in the same way. To be cavalier, if you’ve seen one they’re all similar. It’s not the goo that bothers me, it’s the fucking noise. The buzzing. Sounds like an electric mower. Sounds like the delivery drones people order stupid things from. Can’t go on a walk without hearing the buzz and training my eyes on the sky.
